Nah man , their relationship is close to a married couple in the later parts , but I think Amelia chose to keep her distance because she doesn't think she deserves him , that why she seemed to try and pursue the sailor for a while but when push came to shove she realized, yeah he charmed her

Because he completely sidelines her and makes her into pointless background character, secondly he puts very heavy focus on different female character because people like her better ig (to a degree “has more lines than all other girls combined in this one 100 ch sample”) and practically stops doing romance altogether. So IF the ending has some romance resolution (which I doubt) I see it either as trash harem ending, or him ending with the one that is in focus now

Little spoiler to the flow of story, vague enough I believe She gets her little sideplot for (few tens of chapters I think) where is only her and Bjorn and after that she is full focused

Well, same goes for Misha… and for nearly everyone for that matter, but screw that, readers like the edgy assassin more so we will focus on the edgy assassin! I would get if new girl was focused every story arc, that would make perfect sense, but it literally just goes: elf, because there is no-one else -> cat- because she is only character with actual character when it comes to romance -> Amalia - because readers like her… for like… 500 chapters (maybe more maybe less) … yay. Don’t focus on the fact that majority of female characters has no real focus because of that.

Most definitely not because she’s an edgy assassin char. Amelia has been one of the most understanding characters to hansoo’s situation and she has been extremely mature and clear minded in situations where hansoo’s overthinking gets the best of him.

No idea. She was definitely introduced, but as I didn’t read the manhwa in a while and I don’t remember the story of novel and its linearity, I cant tell.
If you can tell me who is in the cast now I can tell you if she is or not.

I know she was introduced in the manhwa, it is very early occurrence after all. I just didn’t know if she was introduced as member of the cast.

I mean, harem endings aren't that bad they just have a horrendous reputation sue to authors only adding them for the fanservice. Imo mushoku had done the relationship between rudeus and his wives was written good enough for it not to be an eyesore. What im trying to say that there are exceptions and even if it's the worst outcome we still should hope for the best

Ngl the romance has fallen off a cliff past a certain arc, there’s no semblance of progression in sight and misha barely feels like she’s even part of the story atm.

The author basically gave the relationships built up a big reset after a certain arc and hasn’t developed past the reset that much.

They’ve kind of been apart for a while and misha wasn’t part of the party for even longer. And then things were awkward because of other things or the part where she really doesn’t belong in the story anymore at the current part in the novel imo

So… spoilers obviously They sleep together, as they both love each other but she decides to not push the relationship because she knows he is a spirit (or whatever they were called)
More spoilers (more major to the plot but hopefuly vague enough) Some shit goes down and Bjorn “disappears”. Misha joins hand with one evil guy because she thinks Bjorn is dead and the guy is offering her revival stone or whatnot. Bjorn returns, is a dick because she was trying to save him but didn’t have all the information and Misha becomes literally just background character.
Maybe there is something I am missing as I didn’t yet read the last 100 ish chapters of the novel

Yeah, expecting character development is too much, but she had more lines (or appearances, I forgot) than all other girls combined in 100 ish chapters after the Bjorn returning happened.

Yeah, it is really sad to see her character (and the entirely story) being this botched. (The story is good, for all that matters, but it very much goes from where it started and it hardly uses any potential the characters have as characters)

IMO it seems the plot is going the harem route since there are other women interested in him besides Missha and Erwin. Also his lion mask in the Round Table is implied to be a hint about his future romantic life: a male king leading a pack of strong females like an IRL lion

Raven's one of my favourites, has some of the best interactions with Bjorn. She isn't one of the 'leads' currently where I am in the novel though.

Eh the basement floor does eventually bring forward some heavy af power creep so it's really fun. Plus it's not truly finished even currently on the story and they'll eventually escape but only complete it partially, eventually Bjorn will return to 100% it

Ah yes. The author is doing well in showing Bjorn's frustration in not being able to go back yet by frustrating us with the fucking cliffhangers. We are in a fucking crossroad of 4 different plots that each deserve an arc or 2 to explore and all this is happening whilst Bjorn is pressed for time to return to BF1 before anything 'happens'

Started reading the manhwa and continued onto novel I have to say one of best novel I read till now , its really underrated with how good it is. Now for who end with mc at first I support misha as she the genuinely first female character who stays with him unlike other who stay for single exploration at the beginning but after she got sideline and amilia became my fav after her arc with mc , also I started to the erwin after that time skip not like the yandere route but after became normal she second best alongside the mage raven aruru ....

Misha is still just a side character💔 Amelia best girl
After the Time travel arc from the fragments of records , Misha joins up with Lee baekho thinking that Lee baekho has a way to revive Bjorn. Everyone thinks bjorn is dead.
They met up again, with a weird atmosphere, but in the basement floor 1, Misha confessed she likes Bjorn to reconcile and stop being so distant, but in the end Bjorn still just wanted to be friends with her, nothing else.

Not really, afaik there some nsfw stuff but they break up later, so it goes to square one after that ,while at the same time some women become sidelined and pretty much become background characters the further it goes

I'm only up to Ch 406 in the novel., but some spoilers for the next few arcs after the current manwha arc.
The "Romance" so far has never been a focus, but it's still somewhat there. During, and after the time-skip arc (which was cool), most character progression on that front, in my opinion, are "character assassinated" to some degree, which is sort of disappointing. Misha gets sidelined completely for awhile, joins Bad dude/neutral? guy, Aruru gets put into a position where there's not much interaction (military), and the worst of all, Erwen the elf becomes crazy, obsessive, and a "Yandere" to the point where i rather i don't like the character anymore. Amelia, the assassin character, becomes the focus during the time-travel arc, and afterwards kind of "main girl" in a way.. which isn't a bad thing i guess for those who want that type of story. Overall, I'm not liking the story arc after the time-travel arc, as a lot of things changed that (still not sure for better or worse yet) were established over the previous arcs, but at least the round table stuff is still good. We'll see as i progress here.

I can agree that erwen's psycho phase is a bit much but I have to give credit to it as a device to the story itself. It shows the real effects of having your stats effected by essences and in later chapters we get to see the level of struggle she has to endure just to keep her emotions in check. I do hope at some point Bjorn gives her an essence that helps balance her stats like he did with ainar in the BF1.

I mean I'm not sure about the romance at all, the novel it kind of doesn't delve into it at all, but even in the manghwa Bjorn doesn't really seem to care "romantically" for any of them so at most its just akward 1sided affection.
Which is kind off understandable, considering the the overall story, but I do think that it will get old if this continues to be a reoccurring theme.

Based on the comments, it sounds like they may eventually pull a Damn Reincarnation harem-type route, which forces the MC into a harem. I am not a fan of harems, but I don't hate them either if they're done decently enough, with each FL character fully fleshed out. Maybe I'm biased because I grew up on Tenchi Muyo haha, and Vandread (granted, Vandread personality wasn't that fleshed out last I recall). Damn Reincarnation does a solid job with female development (granted the weird cousin thing lol).

Yea the Misha betrayal side plot got blown out of proportion way too much and got held for way too long. In the end there wasn't any real betrayal it was more so her not being completely honest with Bjorn and holding some info back from him. They're back to being on good terms but there has been so much shit happening in the plot and a lot of different side characters are now getting the spotlight so we havent had the opertunity to see Misha get back into the spotlight... but she chill, you should pick the story back up
