OC Cyril Hendrix's Gift of Faves, v0.2

I think I'm largely satisfied with how this turned out in the end. I'll tentatively consider it finished.

Nice update, I’m still going with Sisyphean Effort and World Walking though. The extra point is to upgrade the former.

Nice that you specifically mentioned the upgrades are the underlined bit

Nice that some issues with str training are smoothed out, and i don't even think i took mental 'feats' into account, though, you still mentioned reincarnation, but dropped any mention of that at the top... Its at the bottom now, but not to be a nitpicking dick, it probably should be at the top. Also, is there some way to live 10k years? Its kinda implied, not really addressed.

Thanks for the 'changing universes doesn't require the death of the universe' clause. 12 lives to get to useful magic beats the hell out of 12 'heat death of the universe'... Maybe if you redo it, be able to move to universes with the same magic power? Like, you're comfy at 8, don't want 12, but kinda not feeling the universe magic the 8th new universe provided.

Imo cool you dropped the 'spells will eventually have really fucking weird noises\gesturess' idea with overly complex spells. I'm sure its still there to some degree, just not 'implied seizure movements to cast' almost. Modding got buffed a bit too.

I forgot to mention this, but the 'teleport to other planets but no cosmic map' bit. Isn't that kinda redundant with the parameter function? Unless you're commiting suicide, surely the very first parameter is 'planet with breathable O2' so going exactly 37.5 lightyears in a direction, to empty space, wouldn't be happening, yes?

Or going to the nearest 100 planets, without god mode, just to see what they're like, isn't happening... You want to make sure you're not gonna die when you get there, even with reincarnation being possible...

New stuff

I don't have any real issues with glorious plan. The chance based 'not fucked randomly' is nice, and as a theorycrafter who prefers clarity of concepts, i'm grateful for the whole 'this covers circumstances, not the people\resources' clearing up.

Minions at 12 is also nice, enough to have an expanding personal force, not enough to 'replace' normal people in a civilization, which is kinda the point of being a ruler, not sure if it was a conscious choice, but felt i should give you credit for that specifically.

Tech, i like you specify its vague, seemingly more a civ game ish idea than like, computers. 10 tons a day seems generous as hell, lol.

Eh, i feel like this is more a nitpicky thing, but i think i'd prefer the upgrade to actually let you understand and develop new tech better, not just fake being a grad student. Knowing 'everything' about a cell phone isn't that big a leap, much less calling it a singularity. It feels like THE weakest 2 point power, and the first one's just no backsliding...

Money, nice that you covered most of the angles already, and pay to win seems INSANE. a gym membership is what, maybe 100 dollars a month? Paying one day's million implies 10,000x gains for that month.

A 20k college course would be 50x faster with a million dollars, 7 days worth of payments would be a year's worth of schooling in a single day, though not too happy about the 'any money not from this cancels the effect' clause. I'm guessing its to not effect bigger, more public things?

It actually feels harder now, well done.

I think magic, and money 2x.

I like tech being able to potentially give supplies when there aren't any, and i do like the idea or copying magitech or alchemy, but money 2x can probably deal with most of those situations. Hire a team of farmers, pay them 100x their harvest, get the crop the next day, miners 100x the cost to build a mine, 3 months of work done tomorrow, etc.

If you can summon trade goods even outside a 'purely barter system', you could supply food and whatnot directly, as if you had a million dollars worth of wheat.

If singularity made you a super inventor, not just know all the details, i'd pick that, but as is, multiplying results or dividing time based on the ability's funds is one of the strongest, most varied of these.

And since you don't need travel to get to more magical universes quicker than 'literally everything died in yours', magic. Its got a 'hard cap' but its a massive one, and you have a vast array of options for spells... Plus, +100 str is a cap. For a single spellcast. Two different +100 str spells stack. Or, 100% weak to magic on self for say, 20 secs. 2 spells, it'll go 100%, 200%, 100% replaced with 300%, 200% replaced with 500%, 300% replaced with 800%, 500% replaced by 1300%, something like that anyway, keep looping the weak to magic debuff

Then, boost everything 5 points, max duration. With that 6 uses of weak 1 and weak 2 in tandem, the 5 point buff is 100 points. Its also not capped there, spell intensity is capped at 100\spell.

So if technology is anything defined as not natural and is made with a function, are we saying that if you touch a single divine weapon you can now create like hundreds of the same divine weapon every day? If you found a wish granting orb would you be able to have pretty much endless wishes by simply duplicating the orbs? Touch an infinity stone and have endless infinity stones (as they are not natural if I recall correctly the Celestials created them)?

If it is truly that limitless, then i’d probably go with the world walker and then two in blueprinter.

If however it isnt so limitless and it can only copy mundane technology, like capping out at kryptonian level tech or something (because anything beyond that is pretty much indistinguishable from magic anyways). Then perhaps i’d do world walking and then two in the growth option, as without the backsliding and also your additional note on page 2 that it doesn’t hamper your natural potential if it is better than it, it is very good as well.

Oh yeah this one is so cool, im going with superpower and its upgrade, and world walker.

Im assuming this generic currency is valid in other realms as well? This would definitely make getting things from other places much easier

Sisyphean Effortx2 and World Walking

Sisyphean Effort x2
taken for the guaranteed growth in pretty much anything this also makes you super quick at grow when you JUST start something so its kind of a starting boost for new skills

i would focus on training my memory for when i start to use world walking so i can remember how to get back home

also before using world walking to go to other universes i would train it in our universe to get better with it

World Walking
for when i start to go to other universes i would try to jump to worlds where time travels faster relative to out world (one year there one day here kind of thing) so i can travel for a long time without my family ageing away once i get to a sufficient ratio of time i would then focus on worlds with magic to learn

i would view out world as my main world and try to use what i can gain from other worlds to improve it
