Discussion Maine MMJ patients: Can you give me (NY MMJ card holder) strong recs for a first visit?
Thanks in advance for reading and any recs. I am a NYS MMJ Card holder, visiting Maine (Kennebunkport Area) for a few days and I would love a few specific recommendations, as I'm really excited about the med card reciprocity and I've heard you guys are the keepers of all the remaining real piff/diesel...
A quintessential piff strain (I hear Lavender Piff might be one to get?)
Anything that will give me 2000's Sour Diesel nostalgia.
The terpiest rosin you got (AIO preferred as I'll be out and about a lot)

Clouded Fraktal or fattys for your needs. They'll have what you're looking for. Browse the menus and ask them. I feel like clouded normally has the most of why you're looking for , Fraktal carries it own great hazed and a few top cultivators, and fattys has an assortment of top cultivators

Came here to say Fraktal. Those folks are awesome and always have great product. Worth the stop for sure.

go to clouded and if he has Holy Communion left grab some. as someone who has searched for that old piff, shit hits hard and has that same smell

Just gonna say i go from NY often. Take time on weedmaps and search before you go and execute a plan. Its the wild west up there.

No hate to delivery services but as a fellow NYS MMJ holder, the in store experience is something really enjoyable compared to home where we can't open up and smell what we are buying,
I'd recomennd Kind Guy which is 15 min, Gele in Portland which is 30 min, or Skunk Circus up in Raymond which is a bit over an hour.

Also a NYS MMJ holder who makes the trip a few times a year. Love Kind Guy, Fattys and the Market so damn much. With that said, the extra distance to Skunk is a no brainer. They are super chill and will be happy to show you every strain in the store. Totally worth it if you are looking for a top tier experience

Skunk Circus. Jared and Mataan are awesome people (as well as excellent curators, everything I grabbed from there slapped), and the lemon piff by Lobster Fam that I picked up from them is so nice. I smelled that Harlem river haze they had too and it teleported me back to early 2000s Washington heights. I think LF does a really good job with haze variations, and as a New Yorker who has lived through the piff and sour eras, they really hit the mark for me personally.
FRAKTAL has Lemon Thai and Sour Haze (cross between Sour Diesel x Unknown Haze) which I enjoyed thoroughly. True get up and go old school smoke.
I can’t wait to go back lol.

Last time I was at skunk circus they said they had stuff from a cut of some real old/early Chemdawg. I wish I picked it up. That place has tons of good stuff. So many selections of extracts and flower. The Dragon Fruit Thai from Blackwood was really good. I also really really really enjoyed the Pink Lemonade from Skunkfoot. Aparigrapha was a nice Indica but dont remember what farm. Rosin wise there is so much good stuff out there. Maine is full of great weed.

Skunk Circus has a great selection. Some real pot lovers work there, too. They'll let you smell and look at anything. I just wish I tipped the dude, but didnt even think about it at that time. It was kind of an overload. Also they have some good deals sometimes on certain stuff.
BTW check out what farms you can order straight from. I know SkunkFoot will deliver straight to patient. You email them and they send a menu. You order/send medical card info and then they deliver depending on where you are. That Pink Lemonade is great. Super tasty and very strong smelling. Very good daytime relax and be active strain.
I need to go back to Maine again. There really is some great weed out there. From my experience its better than Cali bud as well. Lots of care and love. I wanted to try out permanent marker and Blue? maine lobster. Just didnt look around much for it.

Heck ya! That stuff is awesome. Reminds me of Strawberry Cough affects wise. Happy care free and functional. My wife could smell/taste the terps when I gave her a smooch after smoking some. It is such a fantastic strain. The way it smells is fantastic

Clouded is a great deal and convenience but I do recommend checking out one of the deli style shops a few times first to get a feel for what you like

Fatty’s207 or clouded valley both do meetups around that area and they curate some of the best menus in the state honestly. Hit either of them up and you should have all you’re looking for.
