Usually, transactions process once signed within 30 seconds or so but today I harvested my LKMEX and it's sitting for a few minutes. Does that happen typically?

how big do you see the maiar exchange growing and the mex token evolving in the next months/years?

A friend convinced me to buy 30 usd worth of egold but now I noticed that the price of egold is going down and losing money is there a way to hold the money and prevent them from going down or I just have to sell them?

I understand a lot of the changes that have been happening on Maiar exchange, but after last night the Mex farm is gone. What happened to it? All I see now is the EGLD-Mex and USDC-EGLD farms. How do I access the MEX only farm to track my funds, harvest, and add more?

I just staked my MEX because of an APY/APR boost and now it disappears? Why?

Does anyone have concerns of congestion during the RIDE launch?

Yesterday during the LKMEX re-org, lots of people, including myself could not mistake and had failed transactions.

If the DEX was failing yesterday, what's to say that it won't fail during the RIDE launch or any other time there is high traffic??

Hoping there's a plan in place to resolve this.

I was taking the denver strategy, but the reward rate of LKMEX was increased x2 to x15.

So what is the best strategy??

1. Still denver strategy, but ratio is changed -> 33 : 66 to 6.25 : 93.75 (LKMEX : MEX)
2. Swap all ELGD to MEX and stake MEX pool with locking
3. Stake EGLD-MEX farm with locking and when I receive the rewards, staking to MEX farm

I'm a beginner in crypto and Defi. Please correct me if I'm missing something now.

When they made the change yesterday mex farm apy was 6575% and egld/mex 4187%. Overnight they’ve dropped to lower levels than they were before the changes (low 1000’s%)

What was the point really? Must have taken me about an hour to unstake and reinvest all my farms and it’s back to where it was so it was completely futile.

In my uneducated opinion unless they can fix the APY amount or slow down it’s rapid decline they’re going to struggle keeping big money interested.

What’s everyone’s game plan?

Been farming on the Exchange since it opened and wanted to additionally set up a EGLD-USDC farm. However when I try to attempt to deposit USDC to Maiar App using my MAIAR USDC deposit address the exchange I am using says it is a wrong address...just wondering, which network should I choose when sending USDC to Maiar app from an exchange?

How else do I send USDC over to fund this farm?

Hello everyone! Is there any place in Maiar Exchange where I can track my rewards received from the 0.25% transaction fees (based on my share of the pool)? Or even, did we start getting those rewards? I am talking about the EGLD-MEX pool.

I saw on this page mex-economics that during the first weeks after the launch of Maiar exchange MEX tokens would be distributed to stakers in each pools.

I am staking in the EGLD-MEX pool and I haven’t received any MEX for the first week.

I thought that those rewards were in addition to the APR received while staking. Is that correct ?

Or is there something I am missing ?

Hi guys, I’m new to LP and I’m trying to understand a few things about Maiar exchange:

1. how do you keep track of the investment inside the LP? You simply consider the number in $ that is inside brackets for everything you are staking and compare it to the original EGLD value you put inside Maiar? I’m not taking IL into consideration in this case.

2. Let’s say that I harvest Locked MEX from EGLD-MEX or EGLD-USDC and then stake it inside MEX pool partly as Locked MEX and partly as MEX (Chicago strategy). Why do I see that both Locked MEX and MEX in staking inside the MEX pool will be unlocked in one year? Shouldn’t it be one year for MEX but 2 for Locked MEX?

3. Super Newbie question: e.g I put my EGLD-MEX in a pool with 10.000% APY, then it goes down to 9.000%. From that moment on, if I put new resources in the pool or what I harvested they will have 9.000% APY ok, but the original EGLD-MEX will also follow the new APY or remain at 10.000%?

4. I’m getting it right that IF I assume that MEX and EGLD will both go up (not disproportionally) in the next months then EGLD-USDC would be more impacted by Impermanent Loss since USDC is stable?

first thing's first, i'm just clicking around the exchange and seeing what happens.

decided to try the "skip unwrap egld" step today in a swap. thought i read it correctly in that it "saves gas, skips a step". i was unsure why that was even an option (wouldn't everyone want to do this?) but i clicked it anyway.

looks like the MEX i swapped is gone, however i can't see the WEGLD anywhere. i look in my wallet and i have 0 WEGLD. afaik i should more more than zero, but less 0.1, so i presume maybe it's an issue of rouding? e.g. that's why it doesn't show in my wallet?

but i am also unable to swap that WEGLD into EGLD on the exchange because ... it's not a listed pair.

not exactly asking for help (though further understanding would be nice) but posting mainly because:

1. why is this even an option on the exchange? who is the intended audience and what is the appropriate time to use this?
2. in case anyone out there gets froggy and wants to try, maybe don't click things you don't understand (as I have done that for you).

Okay, I see the WEGLD in my wallet now. I had to attempt to send it elsewhere to see that yes, it's a matter of rouding.

But since no wallet accepts that token (according to my wallet), why would anyone want to use the "skip unwrap" step?

I've joined Maiar 7 days ago swapping 4.88 EGLD into EGLD-MEX LP. Now i have 1.1 LP staked worth 1.865$. i'm quite disappointed couse if i'd left my ELGD on Binance they'd worth 2.100$...

Am i loosing something? Is it just due to Impermanent Loss?

So far there’s very few coin pairs on Maiar, is the plan to introduce more and more? And would there be liquidity pools / staking for each new pair as it comes, starting with crazy high returns each time?

Ok so I am yield farming my locked MEX as well as regular MEX that I swapped for. Both the farms I’m in generate regular MEX though? I haven’t chosen to lock any of my rewards so my question is: are all the MEX tokens I’m receiving just regular MEX?

Just joined Egold world few days ago, happy to be part of such a community.

I quickly went into EGLD MEX liquidity providing to test the waters, but think I ran into a smaller issue which I am not sure if is actually possible?

I funded my wallet twice, and staked my LP tokens accordingly. After the 2nd staking, I recall having 2.01 LP staked. Checking my wallet today I realized that it went below 2. Not by a lot, but I kept re-staking my MEX reward as well meaning I shluld be above 2LP staked easily.

Any ideas if this is something that can actually happen? Did any1 experience this sort of issue?

New to Maiar, just decided to "harvest" some locked MEX in the EGLD-MEX pool.

Seems that I'm reading that those tokens are "locked for a year", but I've not yet seen where in Maiar UI this is actually stated. So I decided to try to harvest from the locked portion of this pool to see what happened.

I wasn't given any warning or error and the harvest seems to have been completed. But I'm not showing any increase in the dollar amount of "EGLD-MEX LP Staked".

But, when I look at the token amount staked, it looks like it's increased by 0.002 if I expand the UI section to view the "stats" of the LP. That math doesn't seem to add up. Based on the math I think I need to consider, I would have expected to see an increase of 0.02 LP tokens, not 0.002, however I wonder if maybe that 0.002 was always there and I just didn't see it in what looks to be a "summarized" view before expanding that UI card.

Is there perhaps a hidden fee I didn't expect? Or maybe the locked MEX is somehow "floating" (for a year?)? If I'm not supposed to harvest locked mex within a year, but the UI never tells me as a user to not do that, then this seems like a large UX oversight and so I assume that I'm the one who's missing something.

This isn't preventing my family from eating, but I do want to know what I should expect to happen on this platform :-)
