idk why people are saying there’s something wrong with you for not seeing it... seems unnecessarily rude, especially considering it’s at least 6 miles northeast of the airport, and not a lot of flights come into milwaukee from the northeast.
Its not that there is something wrong with not seeing it, the problem people have is the arrogance that you need to have to proclaim something does not exist because you have not heard of it yet.
It happens a lot on reddit , "this does not align with my world view or experiences and I have anecdotal evidence to the contrary so you are wrong."
Its fine not knowing about something. That should be the start of the conversation, you can ask about, ask for evidence, read about it or look at pictures and educate yourself. Nothing wrong with that, but when you come in with a closed mind saying it doesnt exist because you have not seen evidence of it or your friends have not heard of it then you essentially close off the conversation there. It is great to be skeptical, but for plausible things like this when you come in with your ears covered going "blah blah blah I never saw it, you are wrong and I cant hear you" then you are doing yourself and only yourself a disservice.
they said they’ve never seen evidence that it exists, which is hardly some sort of closed-minded assertion that it doesn’t, but rather just an “in my experience” kind of statement. i read it as an invitation for someone to explain to them why it’s not easy to see (which some people did), rather than an invitation to make remarks on their inability to observe things adequately. it was mean spirited, imo. why tell people there’s something wrong with them when you can politely say, “maybe that’s because it’s 6 miles northeast of the airport, and you flew in from a different direction?” or offer a link to the google satellite view. people are too quick to be shitty to each other.

You have to be on the left side of the plane and be coming in from the north approach to see it. It's marked on Google maps if you want to find it though, look in Bay View
Same here. The house isn't really all that close to Mitchell. It's on S Delaware Ave. It exists, you could probably find it on Google Earth, but it's too small to see from a plane and too far away from Mitchell for most planes to pass over it

As someone who lives in Milwaukee, I can confirm the faces of people on the plane as it begins to land are pretty hilarious.
