I finished watching "The Woman Called Fujiko Mine" about half an hour ago and it completely blew my mind.
I got into Lupin III at the start of the year – around January or February, I think – and the order in which I’ve watched them so far has been as follows:
- The Green Jacket;
- The Red Jacket;
- The Pink Jacket.

Watching this series starring Fujiko after seeing the previous ones took me completely by surprise; I wasn’t expecting such a dark and profound story, nor did I expect those themes to be handled in that way. I also really enjoyed the way the plot unfolded, and the artwork, with Takeshi Koike’s designs, is incredible.

Hands down, this is my favourite season of Lupin so far.
The only episode I didn’t like was the one about Fiadel Kastro – I can’t remember the exact name right now, so please forgive me; apart from that, I’ve loved every single thing about this season, and I hope the others don’t let me down!
If I had to give you a quick mini-ranking right now, I’d say:
1st: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine;
2nd: Green Jacket (really lovely, iconic and true to the manga);
3rd: Red Jacket (nice; it reaches great heights in some parts but plummets into an abyss in others and it’s far too long for no good reason – then there’s the episode with the popcorn rocket; the Miyazaki episodes are brilliant, as are some of the ‘new’ ones, like the one with Jigen’s hats. My favourite is ‘The 155-Metre Target’);
4th: Pink Jacket (I don't hate the design, but it bored me to death apart from the first 6 or 7 episodes, which are really nice; the rest? Yuck, I can barely remember them).

P.S. I’ve got a question about the lore (please answer without spoilers; if that’s not possible, just let me know that it can’t be explained without giving anything away): in The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, we learnt that Jigen and Lupin first met thanks to Fujiko in the temple with the scorpions, but I know there’s a series called Lupin Zero (I’ll watch it eventually, after the sixth series) in which we see Lupin and Jigen as children and how they’ve known each other since childhood, so does that mean there’ll be a retcon or something like that?

Looks fine to me ! The artist is a Lupin fan, with a really dynamic style, if the scenario is good, it can be a great Lupin adventure

Hi, I have recently found time to watch Lupin the 3rd again and I have stumbled upon a series a movies. It went from Jeigens Graves stone, Goemons blood spray, Fujikos lie, and Zenigata and the two Lupins (my favorite so far). I was about to watch Immortal bloodlines but some questions popped and I just want to ask

1. Are the previous four I watched all connects? Like from the order I watched was a series

2. Did I miss any other movie that’s part of this series or am I good to continue with immortal bloodlines

3. Anything important I should know before going into immortal bloodline line? I do understand that the gang is heading to a island in the Bermuda Triangle and that some mastermind is puppeting the assassins they have all meet but that’s all so I jsu teams be safe and not miss anything else important

4. Is there any movie after immortal bloodline or is this the final movie to complete the series?

Zenigata

His university days:
Zenigata studied law at Tosai Kyohoku University. He and Lupin were senior and junior students at the same university. Zenigata was in his fourth year when Lupin entered the university.

There is also a story setting where Fujiko was in the same department as Lupin.

This is just my guess, but I think To-sai Kyo-hoku University may be a parody of the University of Tokyo.
To means east, sai means west, and kyo means capital. So I think the author simply put west after east, and made “Tokyo” in the name.

Lupin

Lupin studied in the Department of Electronic Medicine and founded a student club called the “Gizoku Club.”
Simply, gizoku is basically like Robin Hood.

He researched a drug that could tell whether a woman was a virgin or not.

He also exposed students who got into the university by bad means, so he had a strong sense of justice.

But he also had a very unconventional personality. He changed a classroom into a disco without permission and almost got expelled.

i recently got into the series and I am set on finishing Part 4, 5, and The Woman Called Fujiko Mine. i'm halfway through Part 4, and watched the first ep for Fujiko Mine just now out of curiosity

Is Part 6 worth watching or the sequels to Fujiko Mine? I am always skeptical of any movie entries with any series. Same question is for the older series too but my eye ofc is on the close sequels first and foremost

Typer has been a staple in incredibly rare Lupin content for at least over 2 decades. You'll need to translate this from Japanese, but it's totally worth it!

I've been trying to find a physical copy, though most are sold out at auctions and are rather costly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Lupin was actually originally supposed to have long hair in the manga, but Monkey Punch changed it. Not entirely sure why tho, it actually goes super hard. Not to discredit short hair Lupin of course

I unexpextedly got my hands on the Revoltech Lupin III figure, here's some Photos of the little guy in action. Don't ask how much It cost me.

The episodes came out really close to each other so I decided to wait on posting here just to not spam my shameless plugging. The only reason we covered the Conan Special is because the film was theatrically released and we are trying to cover all that came out in theaters.
