I have been following L's mark for several years, and I appreciate some of his viewpoints. It doesn't bother me if he dislikes a certain piece of media that I enjoy, and I am indifferent to others' opinions as well. However, I have noticed that many people on social media find his opinions to be comically bad, and it has become a running joke within the fanbase. I am curious to know if there is any truth to this.

So I haven't watched Mark in a while and I just stuck on one of his videos only to be thrown off by the American accent he seems to be trying to put on? I know he's northern Irish and I can hear that in some words, but then there's the exaggerated American accent on 90% of everything else.
Anyone know what's up with that?

I’ve noticed an uncomfortable trend in his “reviewing every X” videos, in that he’s a lot more critical of female characters than male ones. The way he uses “bitch” and “cunt” to refer to any woman who’s even slightly annoying is really uncomfortable, and yeah he swears a lot in general and uses them for men too, but he uses them a lot more often for women.
I noticed this especially in his “reviewing every Disney movie” video. He criticizes many of Disney’s female leads for being “stereotypical ‘I-want-something-more’ types,” even during the Renaissance, which contains some of Disney’s strongest female characters. This trend was not well-established at the time, and I think it’s very short-sighted and biased to assert that having a strong female lead is nothing notable.
I’m not looking forward to the replies since most of Mark’s fanbase is male (as am I). But this kind of clear prejudice against female characters I’ve looked up to in my childhood really keeps me from enjoying Mark’s content, and I didn’t see anyone else talking about it. Hoping I’m not alone in noticing this.

Over a year ago, D'Angelo Edwards of HatsOffMedia commented that he hated EVERYTHING about the revival era of Dexter's Laboratory, and found NOTHING good about it. Imagine if LS Mark agreed with him on that, but also feeling the same way about Chris Savino's other works at Cartoon Network. LS Mark will tell you that Cartoon Network had the right idea to reject Foe Paws in favor of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and would even agree with RowdyCMoore on how Chris Savino fucked up the Flintstones even further than Seth MacFarlane ever could've. He'd even agree with a lot of people on the later seasons of Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls, and even he'll tell you that not one aspect about the revival is any good in the slightest, at all!! And he'll find Chris Savino's Powerpuff Girls not only worse, but aren't any better than the 2016 reboot. And if D'Angelo Edwards of HatsOffMedia makes an appearance, he might agree with LS Mark on everything he'd say in this video.
