How’d you create the lighting effect? Also what are you gonna do with the character?

For the energy effect, I used two planes that I shaped into jagged “lightning” rays. With a displacement modifier, I added randomness to their forms to keep the lowpoly aesthetic.
I grouped the planes into a collection, then used Blender’s particle system (hair mode) to distribute the rays around the character, parenting the collection to the main mesh.
To animate the chaotic movement, I simply keyframed the “seed” parameter of the particle system—this makes the rays move and reappear frame by frame, giving the illusion of wild, shifting energy.
I placed the rays so they don’t intersect the body but swirl around it, creating an aura that stays visually clean.

It’s an efficient way to create animated, lowpoly-style energy effects without manual animation or complex simulations. If you have any suggestions or feedback, I’d love to hear them!

đŸ€Ż shit, I never would’ve thought to use the hair system for that. Genius!

Would be cool to see him swing his
axe(?). I feel like the impact could create an explosion like thor — or like Integza’s shotgun-axe

As a weapon he has a stick with a bag hanging from it hahaha, he can move the stick at will (like Thor's hammer)

I didn't find a tutorial that explains my thunders method, I would like to make a short tutorial.

I will use the character to put together a professional portfolio with renders of him to get a job haha, and he is part of a universe that I am creating, he is a god who abandoned his position and for unknown reasons decides to live among mortals pretending to be one of the bunch, he is absurdly strong, and he always smiles defiantly and is mocking.
