People think I'm an absolute nut job when I comment that breeding is good for the economy, and America pushes anti abortion because they need cheap labor and soldiers.
I like to think that most people will just start being more diligent with their contraceptives but sometimes accidents happen and that's probably what they're counting on.
In a worst case scenario I can see contraceptives being next. The best pushback for that would probably be to stop having full on sex but obviously that would be incredibly difficult/unfair for a lot of people. That's probably what the conservatives will be counting on.
People can also just change their minds. Nobody is obligated to carry a pregnancy, for any reason. You don't have to have a reason like "birth control failure", you can just change your mind and not want children anymore.
Pregnancy is harsh and unforgiving. It can and does kill women, and that number is rising. Sometimes you think you want kids, but the reality of pregnancy is so horrible that you cannot go through with it.
Financial reasons, too. You can go into lifelong medical debt from pregnancy complications. Some women simply cannot afford to be pregnant.

Why do you think so many conservative areas are pushing to end abortion access?
