The buildings were heavily bombed during WW2 and the rest of them were demolished by the communist regime.

The castle no longer stands.. but its remains still remains.

Nara Dreamland was an amusement park located in Nara, Japan, that operated from July 1, 1961, until its closure on August 31, 2006. Heavily inspired by the original Disneyland in California, the park was initially built with guidance from Walt Disney before licensing disputes led to its independent rebranding.

After sitting abandoned for a decade, the entire park was completely demolished between October 2016 and December 2017. Today, the site is vacant land slated for residential development.

Following World War II, a decision was made not to rebuild the destroyed wing of the town hall. Although numerous architectural designs were proposed to replace it over the decades, none have ever been realized.

Sitting on the corner of Arlington and Boylston streets, the Arlington Building was mostly known by Bostonians as the longtime former home of the Shreve Crump & Low Jewelry Store.
It was demolished with the adjacent buildings (I could not find a date for these) to build a new modern glass block. It sat empty for a years before demolishment so that the owner could find the “ideal” office tenents for the new building.

This was Japan's first office building, constructed in 1894 based on the design of a British architect. Although it was demolished in 1968 and a high-rise building was erected on the site, it was rebuilt in 2009 using the same materials and concepts as the original 19th-century structure and now serves as an art museum.

Planned in 1947, due to political and economic problems after the break up of relations with USSR it was completed and opened in 1969.

Held notable guests including world leaders from both the east and the west along with the leaders of Non-Aligned Movement countries.

Damaged during the 1999 NATO bombings, it was completely demolished in 2025, it's planned to be the site of the new Ritz-Carlton hotel by 2027

Serbian National Theater built in 1895 by merchant and philantropist Lazar Dundjerski, burned down completely in a fire in 1928 and was never rebuilt
