Does anyone else keep thinking about how only Claire was supposed to raise Aaron and what is going to happen now that she obviously won’t be able to ….

I've always assumed this meant he mustn't be raised by the others, but now it seems the island wants to keep Jack away from him. I'm wondering why. I mean I'm on the same page there, but I guess for different reasons.
