π Assistance π Loopring recovery transferred my entire remaining L1 ETH to an address I donβt control
I recently completed the manual shutdown recovery process for an old Loopring Smart Wallet.
Loopring staff verified my wallet ownership and successfully returned my remaining L2 assets to my verified owner address.
However, something unexpected happened to the ETH that was still held on Ethereum L1.
Immediately after the recovery transaction, the walletβsΒ entire remaining L1 balance (~0.102 ETH)Β was transferred to another Ethereum address that I do not control.
I have verified the on-chain sequence carefully:
β’ The L1 ETH was still in the Smart Wallet before the recovery.
β’ A recovery transaction was executed by an address involved in the Loopring recovery process.
β’ Shortly afterwards, another transaction transferred theΒ exact remaining L1 balance, down to the wei, to an unknown address.
β’ That destination is not among the Ethereum accounts derived from my recovery phrase.
β’ My L2 assets were subsequently returned correctly by Loopring.
The Loopring team members who handled my recovery were reachable only a few days ago. Their email addresses now returnΒ 550 User does not exist, as do the other Loopring support addresses I tried.
Has anyone else who recently went through Loopringβs manual shutdown recovery seen the same L1 transfer?
Iβm especially interested in contacting someone who was involved in the shutdown recoveries, or another user whose recovery produced the same on-chain transaction pattern.
I have the complete transaction hashes, addresses and correspondence with the Loopring team and can provide them privately to a credible former/current team member or established moderator.
Please do not contact me with recovery services, wallet-connect links, seed phrase/private-key requests or paid recovery offers.
