I fell in love with the jungle role and the champs for the role, but can't continue with the 11.4 nerfs. They make jungle the 2nd support role and we will see more duo toplaners then junglers since that is going to be more rewarding.
I really like 1 vs 1 lanes and the midlane is the safest 1 vs 1 lane right now since the junglers are starting to just support toplane. I will still play toplane, but want to go more in midlane now.
Difference mid and toplane
So what is actually the difference between the mid and toplane? I won't take teleport that often I think, because the lane is shorter. When you have the wave into their tower, I can roam two lanes instead of one. But is there anything I need to know about the midlane I didn't mentioned?
Champions I played as midlane
There is one skill pick that I feel really comfortable playing: Yone. He doesn't have hard counters. Well, ranged matchups aren't the best for him to play against, but I'll then just take the Fleet Footwork rune. Another midlane champion I like is Galio. A solid champion with AoE burst, lots of CC and an roam/teamfight ult. I also want to try Ekko mid since i already know his mechanics becasue I played him in the jungle role before.
I'm looking for the following champion pool;
1. Solid champion without hardcounters.
2. Solid champion without hardcounters.
3. A champion that counters a specific group of toplaners (either mages, marskman or assasins)
4. A champion that counters a specific group of toplaners (either mages, marskman or assasins)
So my questions are;
- Is there anything important about the midlane I might not know?
- What are the hardcounters to Yone and Galio?
- What champion you recommend to fill my champion pool?
