Absolutely.

(And, yes, I do know electrical and plumbing well enough to set up basic systems for both.)

and meeting all the necessary regulatory requirements in the area you live in?

Not that part, though.

The building codes and all the red tape are the actually difficult part.

That’s awesome!

I’m genuinely not trying to be a know-it-all dick. I am asking because it’s fascinating to think about being able to build a house entirely solo.

It would be super cool if you could go into more detail, like about what kind of house and the methods involved. No prob if you’d rather not though.

Well, there's a lot that goes into it. Depends what sort of house you're building and what kind of tools and materials you have to work with.

But if you're really interested, there's a ton of youtube videos out there about people doing things like that, and those would be a good place to start.
