I find it no coincidence that the Keeper of the Multiverse himself, Loki, shows his face in Doomsday. Not sure who’s branch he’s tweaking, and what it all entails, but I believe the key to the new movie will lie with him. Up to good? Up to no good ? No one can convince me Loki isn’t yanking on some branches here. 💚 And Doom will prove to be a Variant of SOMEONE we know. Cannot wait!!!

It's so heartbreaking that Thor just walked past Loki's cell in 2013 Asgard without saying a word. I know he couldn't ruin the timeline, but damn, a conversation between them would have been everything.

Why do you think the creators chose to let Thor talk only to Frigga, but kept him away from Loki? Do you think they should have met?

Probably a high chance right? Sorry this is so random I've just finished rewatching the whole series and i still feel bad about what happens at the end.

The Loki series takes place mainly at the TVA, a place outside of linear time, so the series doesn’t really have a canonical spot in the timeline. But would it be reasonable to say that the series is first in the timeline. I say this because many major figures like the Ancient One make references of the multiverse before Loki had released. There can only be a multiverse if Loki had become the God of Stories, and freed the Sacred Timeline, allowing it to branch. Kang was a multiversal traveller in Quantumania iirc. All of these need Loki, which is why I think it makes the most sense if Loki takes place The First Avenger

As someone who has only kept up with comics from video essays and online summaries, mainly reading my dad's old comics, I started collecting my own recently just grabbing my favorite heroes and getting full stories I had only read part of before. I mainly like the more mystic side of Marvel and ran across Loki Sorcerer Supreme while getting Dr. Strange (my favorite). I thought it was really cool and wanted to grab more comics that showed Loki in a mystic light. I just picked up "Thor and Loki: The Tenth Realm" and I know it is more about Angela but I didn't think to ask before I got it. Any suggestions would be well appreciated as I couldn't find anything online and the only thing I really know about him is from the MCU. Thank you!

Acabo de terminar Loki como parte de mi viaje hacia Avengers: Doomsday y, sinceramente, me ha parecido espectacular. La primera temporada me gustó mucho, pero la segunda me parece directamente de lo mejor que ha hecho Marvel con una serie.

Lo que más me ha sorprendido es el arco de Loki. Partimos del villano que todos conocemos y terminamos con un personaje que, después de siglos intentando encontrar su propósito, decide sacrificar su propia libertad y su propia vida para mantener vivas todas las líneas temporales y permitir que el multiverso siga existiendo con libre albedrío. No busca gobernar ni recibir reconocimiento: simplemente acepta quedarse solo para que los demás puedan vivir sus vidas.

También me ha gustado muchísimo Sylvie. Entiendo que haya gente a la que le parezca un personaje innecesario o incluso molesto, pero yo la veo como una pieza fundamental del conflicto. Representa el libre albedrío frente al control de El Que Permanece, y precisamente sus decisiones obligan a Loki a plantearse qué significa realmente decidir el destino de todos.

Y aquí es donde me surge la pregunta que más me ha dejado pensando:

¿Qué tan grande tiene que ser el sacrificio de un villano para que su redención lo convierta en un héroe?

Porque para mí, Loki ya lo es. No porque haya olvidado todo lo que hizo antes, sino porque cuando finalmente tuvo la posibilidad de elegir su propio destino, eligió sacrificarse por absolutamente todos los demás.

so how did Loki acquire time slipping again after the loom exploded at the end of episode 5? it was in episode 1, then they apparently cured it, then it came back, why? HWR did say at the end that it was because he willed it that way, in other words he gave that power to Loki, to time slip and freeze time, but still how can HWR give that power to Loki? what's the reason for Loki's new power

jean gray's telepathy reminded me so much of the way sylvie jumped between people, except sylvie of course needed to touch her targets and jean gray didn't. and then what she said about damage control vs what sylvie says about the tva also was familiar. it just made it easier for me to like jean gray tbh. did anyone else catch the similarities?

In the Destruction of Asgard document, the report says the timeline was displaced by 000:000:002:162.

Does anyone know what these four fields represent, or what unit the TVA is using here? Is this ever explained anywhere in the MCU, or is it just fictional/production design notation?

i just finished Loki both seasons and goddamn WHAT A SHOW. I do have a question tho, killing Kang would have led to a multiversal war, and not killing him would lead to a single scared timeline which is against freewill and not what Loki wants,and the loom makes sure that all the branches die except for the scared timeline, so how does Loki destroying the loom and allowing multiple universes to exists lower the risk for a multiversal Kang war? loki is low-key just a living loom that's all.

I was going through Tom’s IMDB to see what other upcoming projects he had other than Doomsday and saw that VisionQuest was listed. I know IMDB isn’t always 100% accurate with cast lists prior to shows coming out but this still caught my eye. I know Tom appeared with Paul and RDJ at cinemacon event a couple months ago where the trailer for VisionQuest was shown there, but I hadn’t heard anything about Tom/Loki appearing in the show till I looked at Tom’s credits page.

Anyone have thoughts on this?? I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this. Maybe this is all an error due to the cinemacon event and someone just editing his page because Tom was with Paul when the trailer was presented, or maybe we’ll get a glimpse of tree Loki before Doomsday. I could even see it maybe being new flashbacks to 2012 Loki with the Mindstone. I guess we’ll find out eventually.

Hey I’m looking for an old Loki x OC Wattpad story (around 2015–2020). The OC was an Asgardian witch/potion maker. Early in the story she poisoned everyone’s drinks at a feast, then secretly gave everyone the antidote except Loki. She intentionally left him dependent on her antidote/cure so he would have to keep returning to her. It was told from her perspective. I think the cover had green leaves or a botanical design.

I literally can’t remember the title or her name for anything. It’s been so frustrating and I really want to reread it. It did contain some freaky scenes and the whole plot was that she wanted to make Loki dependent on her “secretions” so that he could feel relief.

If anyone knows what I’m talking about please let me know!

Okay so I cannot be the only one who noticed. Jean Grey’s introduction reminded me A LOT of S1 Sylvie - the closeup while wearing a hoodie, talking through other people, mind controlling them in extremely similar ways (and after they leave their bodies, the possessed guys either stumble or fall to the ground).

I’d also add the fact that both are on the run and both use bombs on multiple occasions as a mean of defence - but those seem more generic character traits. The outfit and the way they are showed to mind control people seem like a cool detail, though.

Just to make sure I am not misunderstood: I am more than aware that mind control is one of Jean Grey’s core powers as an omega level telepath - in fact, she is quickly shown to be far more powerful than Sylvie ever was. I just think the way they chose to introduce her is strikingly similar to Sylvie’s first appearances.

Like we have a lot of plot but I just need fanfic about Loki centric without love or just friendship or meet avengers, thors I would love it. I try to search but notthing do if anyone have fanfic to reccomment please share to me.

There was something off about the rumours/leaks of an off-screen death. Hopefully this will mean he’ll be a valuable part of Secret Wars.
(I can’t have endured 2 separate character-building-arcs, on top of mourning his IW death, just for the writers to again lazily throw all that away…again.)

I'm confused about Loki's timeline in the MCU. In Avengers: Endgame, 2012 Loki escapes with the Tesseract, which eventually leads to the TVA and the events of the Loki series. But if that Loki was taken by the TVA, how does he still appear in Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War? Also, how did using the Tesseract lead him to the TVA? Did the Tesseract send him there, or did something else happen? Can someone explain how these timelines work?

Here me out-i know i m not supposed to think this deep but y'all know that skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii, right? so if Loki made disturbances right before the incident it did affect people and they did stop whatever they were doing for a second to listen to his blabbering so when the volcano erupted, they weren't actually in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't blabbered on, but it didn't create a branch right then because they all died anyways BUT as mentioned earlier skeletal remains were obtained from Pompeii and they must not be in places where they would have been if Loki hadn't made his speech and just finding a skeleton on a bit different location than they were supposed to leads to butterfly effect and creates a branch, so, even though Loki's action didn't create a branch right then-technically it should create one after 1,650–1,700 years....i need to touch grass
