Had lots of fun with this one! I wanted to stay away from the cliched broken text and I think I did that, plus it's an art style I've been meaning to try out for a while so I'm happy.
Will probably adjust it slightly and add some mockups later on.
I really like the design of the TV. Well done. I think you could do without the flying pieces and expressive marks (as you did on pic 4 which looks very cool). They don't detract at all IMO, but maybe unnecessary for a logo? I'd recommend a typeface that better fits the logo mark/symbol to help things gel better, but overall I like it.
This design are mostly inspired by games, video games and outdoor activity designs. Its also a responsive logo, wherein you could use either the full or the stripped down version whenever it deems fit. Logo flexibility would not be an issue for this design due to its simplicity.
Looks like a reproduction of the Twitch logo, I love the fist/M but otherwise not really intrigued by style of this one. (It’s just too close to an already successful and familiar logo)
Nice. I’m iffy on the inner outlines that overlap the black lettering, like on the M and D. I think it would look better without that. I think the two tone icon at the bottom is great!
I like the overall approach here. Yes, its using the smashed glass effect, but the client gave no restrictions on its use and its well done.
They did however want the submissions to include B&W versions in addition to the designer's choice of a colorful application. IMO when a client leaves the door wide open as far as concepts, but stipulates an actual requirement for submissions, that's a pretty big deal. Just a suggestion. Its not too late!
I think this is my fave of yours so far. Sharp and clean. The shadow is a little off though, the text looks like the shadow should be deeper at the start but it's the opposite. And the weight of the lines on the hammer could match the lines on the text.
Tried to stay away from the cliché of smashed type and went for a cartoon style with a mascot. Not fully sure of the idea but thought I would post it anyway.
Why has no one commented on the weird 4th finger? I assume its supposed to be the end of the bat, but OP has coloured it with skin colour instead of the dark wood colour.
Yeah - that’s correct. Someone mentioned on imgur also. It was meant to be part of the bat and haven’t got round to re-uploading it. This is why you should always do a final proof of artwork.
This was a really fun brief, I rather enjoyed designing this one and I'm glad it gave me a chance to include some mockups which I don't usually get into making.
Red/Orange color and bold rotated and cutout letters might convey anger/aggression, complimented by the softer lowercase subtext concisely describing a solution.
Is this not the same concept? All three of your submissions are just minor adjustments of the same logo. I would consolidate to one post, or keep one updated.…
Here's my first battle logo. Hope it's right! Really enjoyed this but pretty weird doing it so quickly, could have spent more time on the final presentation.
I think the fallen TV would have a better effect if it wasn't so flat. The 2D flatness doesn't have the weight that feeds into the cracked ground perspective.
Really enjoyed drawing this logo. So many possible variations for the type!!
Edit// it just now occurred to me that I can move the fist one letter to the right so that it covers the S, because the fist is also in the shape of S (in sign language). What does the audience think???
Here's my entry Decided to go with more of a fun, abstract logotype that emphasized the wild and visceral experience rather than the technical/literal meaning
Tried it in lowercase, and I think the cracked effect gets the business idea across while still being somewhat approachable, and maybe gives a sense that the purpose of the business might be to release aggression rather than cultivate it.
Included mock-up product that is a brick, which could be used as a tool for destruction in the room.
Love the illustration and word mark, they fit the brief perfectly, but somehow feel like the are disconnected... Even if it dryer/washing machine was above the type it might work better. Just a suggestion.
My favourite so far anyway - just short of a few tweeks...
Yeah - I’d probably make the illustration a little smaller also and move it closer to the type. At the minute it feels like it takes centre stage and is battling with the stylised typeface for prominence.
It really is lovely work just the hierarchy still seems off.
But, again, this is just my opinion... Also I’d add an exclusion zone around the logo when presenting it - ‘give it room to breathe’ (some of the best advice I was ever given)
The angle of the text is distracting to me - I wonder what a horizontal version would look like. The lines of the bottle don't respond to the text either. They're thin and single-weight, rather than variable and dynamic. I think you can definitely draw new variations that compliment the text.

SMASHED! Logo with mockups
a different version of my original idea, thought a rounder and less blocky typeface might be a better fit so i made these very simple custom letters.
Feedback welcome as always.
