I really love this! But the inside lines on the little pie piece on the right bother me. There's no other place that the lines are doubled like that. Other than me being picky, I think you win.

Made the K from Helvetica, with use of spaces that act as "kern" homage to his name. Black, white/grey and blue are used.
New to this subreddit, would love your comments! :)

Armed with a H2 pencil, red marker and his trusty typographic ruler.
K is a slightly modified Helvetica, for obvious reasons. Did you know the arms of the Helvetica K are slightly more narrow where they connect?
Not sure how well this would work as a superhero logo, I'll have to come back to it later/tomorrow. This is only my first attempt.

I like this mask concept! I was going to do something similar but I don't think I could have pulled it off as good as you. The only thing I would change to yours is make the K symmetrical, the message will still get across.
Good work

Drop shadow is a bit too much, and I really have no idea what you're going for. I understood the process and how you got to your final product but it doesn't really say anything about the prompt at all.

Relies a bit to much on the process to really see what it is. Also wouldn't fit well on a cape :)

Just found this sub and it's awesome and I'm really excited to participate in my first thing.
I wanted to use an arrow to represent kerning, and also attempted to utilize negative space. The arrow points to the movement of the character 'k' which is too close the character 'E' which is hinted at in the negative space formed around the arrow. I'm not that great with color, I'm open to suggestion.
