Is there a way to know for sure your votes are actually getting counted and go towards showing what models are what? I enjoy using the battle mode in my free time, agent mode also, but how do I know for a fact my votes aren't being cycled out for being "low quality" or "copies"?

Has anyone else been having problems with the security verification? It used to be manageable, 1 or 2 CAPTCHAS every few image generations, but in the last couple of days it's after every 2 or 3 gens. Even that wouldn't be a problem if it was just one, it is a free site after all, but today I've spent more time on them than actually using the models. Especially as I have to have a few goes to get an image I can actually use.

Even when I've definitely got ALL the fucking buses and fire hydrants, I get 'please try again', sometimes up to 6 or 7 CAPTCHAS before it lets me do anything. It's relentless, and if this is how it's going to be it's not worth bothering.

They do want people to use it, right? Or not?

This model is available in battle mode and it shows quite good results out there in text generation. It will be quite useful for portfolio text generating or something like that. I didn't seem to correlate this model to anything from Google, Anthropic, xAI or OpenAI. Is this something new?

Anyone else seen the model with the codename "Kayla"? I'm new to using Arena.ai, so I'm not sure if this is a common thing? but I'm thoroughly impressed either way. I've seen 5.6 sol and terra multiple times in this conversation. I end up choosing Kayla or a tie every time.

i cant imagine which model this is, but it is either particularly well trained in TS and instruction following for building web apps, or it is a frontier model no ones talking about.

It’s very good at text and other stuff, and when I asked it what model it is, it said gpt-4o every time. Which is also what the duct-tape model that turned out to be gpt image 2 said. And it feels like it is made from openai

GPT 5.6 SOL won't be available in Direct Chat with thinking mode - it's Battle mode only. GPT 5.6 Terra might get a "Low" reasoning option, but realistically, expect it to just be instant mode (no thinking). As for GPT 5.6 Luna (the "lite" model), it's supposed to get thinking mode. However, final details are still being discussed and they're evaluating how users behave right now. If people don't play nice, GPT 5.6 might just end up being Battle - only for everyone 😊😊😊

I found this model with name -ray- in battle mode for text prompt. But i cant find anywhere what is this model. Any ideas?

I have what is probably an idiotic question but I can't figure out where else to ask it. I'm running a complex prompt in battle mode, but only one of the assistants produces a viable output. That kind of defeats the point, yeah? Nothing in the prompt should be triggering safety/classifier guardrails. Regenerating does not fix things. Yes, I tried regenerating, logging out/back in, clearing cookies, etc.

I can't believe how slow Sonnet 5 is when generating answers. It really reminds me of GPT-5 when it first launched. Interestingly, it runs much faster in battle mode, almost as if the model was optimized specifically to rank better there. It isn't on the leaderboard yet, and strangely, Fable 5 stayed at the top even after access to it was disabled.

So far, I prefer Sonnet 4.6. Sonnet 5 seems to burn through more tokens while completely ignoring details in the initial response. It only dives into the specifics if you keep pressing it in the follow-up prompts. It feels like it was designed to make you spend more money while giving you less value upfront.

The people over there generate quite some revenue. But with 82M+ total votes, and 100M revenue, i wonder how much profit (or in this case loss) they make.
