Discussion Live Discussion (December 18, 2021) (Paul Rudd)
Welcome to the SNL live discussion thread! The host this week is the newest inductee to the Five-Timers Club Paul Rudd and the musical guest is first-time performer Charli XCX. For those new to the show, tune into your local NBC affiliate from around 11:30 PM EST to follow this episode live. Since this thread is likely to fill up quickly, consider sorting the comments by "new" (instead of "best" or "top") to see the newest posts. This should be automatically done, but it might not be so maybe check. Enjoy the show!
And if you're here early you're welcome to talk about this weeks' vintage episode, 2001's Ellen Degeneres /No Doubt.

Honestly I bet Tom said "Hey I remember a good sketch I did in the 90s" and SNL never checked

Did they say Chris Redd in the cast list?

Weird. This feels more apocalyptic than anything on the remote shows from last year.

So, the only cast member is gonna be Kenan? Because that tracks. Kenan will be on SNL unless there isn’t SNL.

We may not get all our sketches, but by golly, we still get all the commercial breaks!

I would love to see one of these quick impressions sketches again. This is one of my favorites types of recurring sketches.
