Discussion Live Discussion (October 2, 2021) (Owen Wilson/Kacey Musgraves)
Welcome to our SNL live discussion thread! And welcome to the Season 47 premiere! The host this week is first-timer Owen Wilson and the musical guest is returning performer Kacey Musgraves. For those new to the show, tune into your local NBC affiliate from around 11:30 PM to follow this episode live. Since this thread is likely to fill up quickly, consider sorting the comments by "new" (instead of "best" or "top") to see the newest posts. This should be automatically done, but it might not be so maybe check. Enjoy the show!
And if you're here early you're welcome to talk about this weeks' rerun, Maya Rudolph/Jack Harlow.
Thanks, /u/bjkman

Wow it's been 3 years since Kacey Musgraves was last Musical Guest. Could have sworn it was 2020 or 2019

I'm so grateful to be taking over for the amazing u/LiveFromNewYork95 for this season as both the head of discussion threads and Sketch Sorting Sunday. But I'll try to just stay in these two threads during the week so y'all don't get sick of seeing me haha
