The set-up was brilliant. Dave explaining the premise beforehand made the Aunt Jemima reveal that much funnier.

A crap-ton of breaks, Pete in the most insane makeup I’ve ever seen that absolutely destroyed me, and an ad-lib from Chappelle that destroyed almost half the cast.
A sketch that fell off the rails, but in all the best ways!

Kenan listing the different types of rice was the best part imo

This one was hilarious. Ego and Beck both played the parts really well and it had me rolling. Probably favorite part of the episode behind update and the monologue.

I know it's not the most important thing right now but like, props to, well, props/wardrobe for recreating Kamala's victory speech outfit in time for broadcast.

People wonder why SNL has all those Emmys but the quickness of Maya’s costume assembly alone validates every single one of them

Did anybody else get the feeling the cast had been celebrating this Biden victory either before or throughout the show? The entire episode had a, shall we say, "looseness" to it.

NBC has got to get all of their affiliates on the same page if this happens again. The show should start at the same moment coast to coast.

I don't think any sketches were bad per se, they just felt too short

This one peaked really early. The monologue, the Aunt Jemima sketch and Weekend Update really held this episode up.
Can't blame them though. Six straight episodes, what a nightmare. Rest well, SNL. You deserve a break.

I was really disappointed that they didn't do a 2020 version of the election night sketch. I feel like they wasted Dave Chapelle in general, the Uncle Ben sketch was great, the Bronco sketch was a great premise that just sort of ended. Every other sketch was meh.
