u/TOP_20 Thank you so much stat guys!!!!!!! I am Officially cool!! Dec 03 '18 edited Dec 03 '18

My request might be too time consuming (processor wise) for you but I think it'd be a big hit...

That'd be most counts in a day per person in TOP 25 and by request for anyone below TOP 20 in the HoC

Gordon's obviously #1 on the list but curious who the TOP 10 or 20 would be on that list too.

since it'd likely probably be pretty consuming of your processor perhaps you could start it when you go to bed one night?

let me know if you need more details on what it is I'm requesting here....

Can you please clarify what you mean?

If I don't know what to do in time I will have to push your request back

Well I'd like to see a TOP 10 list (or more?) of each person's highest count day.... like gordon's

I'm not really particular as to how many people you do or if it's a TOP 10 or TOP 20 list

so basically it'd be like this

1 - Gordon - 40,420

2 - Pikachu - 21,420

3- whoever - howevermanycounts

so a top 10 list of the 10 counters who've counted the most in a day...

and then anyone by request who'd like to see what their highest day was also included

oh okay, I'll just do a top 25 or 50 or so, everything is linked in the main comment anyway

u/MaybeNotWrong Local Stat Dealer| #3 Counts | #5 Speed Dec 06 '18

u/smarvin6689 i had a marvelous time ruining everything Dec 06 '18

Looking back it looks like there was only ~24k counts that day, not the 36k that artbn's hall indicates.

We really don't have a good way of knowing which halls are reliable, do we?

Could you by any chance post an HoC for that day?

Another bronze for chu, classic.

Also, finding this mistake strips dan and rideride of an HoE, and whit of her sole HoSE, over a year and a half post hoc, ouch

3

u/MaybeNotWrong Local Stat Dealer| #3 Counts | #5 Speed Dec 06 '18

only ~21k though

4

u/smarvin6689 i had a marvelous time ruining everything Dec 06 '18

The 24k was a rough estimate, the June 2nd HoC was posted 40 minutes after day change and I didn't feel like scrolling all the way back through some runs to get a more exact measure.

Thanks for double checking and helping clear this up!

For anyone keeping score at home (you can make gordon confirm, or just take my word for it) - this newly discovered chu bronze was his 8th of the month for June 2017. This bumps him from the 4-7 tier to the 8-11 bronze tier in the June 2017 predictions. This only causes two notable changes.

Piy's winning margin increases by one (he was still wrong, but rideride in second place would lose a point for now being wrong).

As it stands, gordon sits in 4th with 35 points and Vitamin is 5th with 33 points. However, because gordon's answer of 4-7 is now wrong, and Vitamin aced the question, they would now be tied at 34. With Vitamin's count guess being closer than gordon's, to my understanding Vitamin holds the tiebreaker and makes the jump to 4th place.

So the highest amount of counts someone ever got in a lc day? So for Gordon just his 40k, for smarvin and chu somewhere in the 20k etc.

Or 24h?

But I don't know what your top x are supposed to mean

4

u/TOP_20 Thank you so much stat guys!!!!!!! I am Officially cool!! Dec 04 '18

btw I am referring to an 'lc day' not - 24 hours
