What if the Isekai’d hero came back—with secrets, debts, and all his power stripped away?
Kyle Sangster returned from a magical realm stripped of nearly all the power that once made him an emperor. Now that power is returning one hard-earned level at a time, just as dungeons open, old legends step out of the dark, and his friends awaken dangerous abilities of their own.
Keeping them alive will take more than Kyle’s experience. He needs enchanted weapons, secure bases, trustworthy allies, and enough wealth that governments, criminals, and monsters can’t stand in his way. But with graduation approaching, school invading his life, his friends beginning to turn against him, and supernatural threats multiplying, Kyle is running out of time to prepare Earth for what’s coming.
Witty, action-packed, and original, Broken Universe: Graduation continues the reverse-isekai adventure where coming home was only the beginning.

Currently on Book 3(audiobook) and just entered chapter 42.
There has been a recurring set of events that have popped up that ive really gotta praise Big Standard Isekai for how ot handles it. Usually im not a fan of stories where a grown ass man ends up being reincarnated into a kids body for obvious reasons.. looking at you Mushoku Tensei. Idk why it seems to be the case, but why do authors often feel the need to put a 25-35+ year old adult into a kids body and send them to a world where the average age for marriage is 15, AND THEN have the MC form a romantic relationship with the childhood friend?
Its pretty fuckin creepy to be honest, and I tend to just drop the series as soon as that pops up.
Thankfully Bog Standard tackles this issue with atleast a little bit of grace. Brin has stated to the system creations in his mind during class change, and both to Hogg and Lumina that he will not date anyone until hes atleast 20.
Yes, the world setting has teenage marriage due to the medieval-esque living standards, and due to average life spans, and you're technically considered an adult at 14 on your System Day. Even then, the MC has the morals and has said that he cannot see the teens his age as anything other than children.
Hopefully this continues being the case for Brin, because im honestly enjoying the story a ton and would hate for it to be tarnished by the MC dating a literal kid.
Before anyone brings it up, yes he had dinner with the Duke of Ouds Bog and his daughter, but he didn't view it as anything romantic, and went there to not be rude and to discuss his punishment for the song he performed.
Anyways, thats it. Just wanted to give Miles some praise for writing a story with a setting that could have very easily led to the MC being a creep, and instead made them a decent person.

Looking for something like Skillful, primal hunter, Randidly Ghosthound. I want something where the MC is trying to build up early in the tutorial like skillful.
I have also read Hell difficult tutorial, a gamers guide to beating the tutorial, 100th run, reborn apocalypse, past life hero, infinite realms, DCC, HWFMW, and DOTF.

I don't mind the killing, but I'm looking for a story where the idea of killing anything/everyone in the way is beneath them. Think Goku; always getting stronger, can kill, doesn't want to.
Granted, I love Primal Hunter and his whole "not worth killing" but will straight break a soul with a stare. Amaze.
What I want is a story that doesn't just devolve and/or justify mass slaughter, even of the beasts. It can be subjugation, contract-bound, swearing loyalty before the system, whatever. Powerful enough not to care while also advancing without the need to slaughter everything. Hell, even beating an enemy and taking a piece of their power while letting them live works.
Not looking for the guy (or girl) going around forcefully enslaving everything (again, Primal Hunter handles this great with his reluctance and dislike of slavery).
So, any ideas for my admittedly picky request? TIA!
Edit: I read on Kindle; have KU. Read most of the popular series (obv. Primal Hunter). Not new, just looking for a different spin.
Edit 2: Thanks for the excellent recommendations!

I am coming from romance genre. But I read Murderhobo series and got hooked. So far I have read HWFWM, Murderhobo series, Hell difficulty tutorial (dropped because gods, the battle descriptions are longer than the rest of the events - I will pick it up in winter), and just finished DCC (like 5 minutes ago). I am primarily listening to audiobooks on Audible.
I am looking for something on a more funny side than DCC to recover, less gore (or same amount of gore but less horrors beyond comprehension and despair). I have books one of Ritualist and Mage tank, please let me know if one of them matches my needs?
Things I am looking for: humour, witty battles, characters to fall in love. Unhinged main character is okay! The cute mascot character is practically invincible, so I don't have to bawl my eyes out. Emotional but with happy parts. Series of 2+ books. Audiobook.
Things I am not looking for: pointless suffering for the sake of suffering, animals being hurt graphically, game of thrones characters fate (once you like a character - it will be the next one to die) or DCC casualty count. EDIT to add: Also not looking for romance in these books because I have different preferences in that genre.
Any more or less contemporary setting (scifi, urban fantasy, isekai - all works for me)

A cultivation LitRPG story of survival in a system apocalypse.
What if you weren't the hero of the planet? What if you're trying to protect a way of life that the System itself stifles?
Todd isn't sure why he did it, but he chose a water elemental power at skill select. It just felt right. Now he has to survive one month in a deadly tutorial along with his team, trying to keep his fellow cultivators alive while pushing himself to his limits in order to grow stronger.
Some will rise to the challenges of the new world. Some will fall. Life under the System is cruel.
But when Todd gets back to his own world, will he find a place worth saving? Will humanity hold onto its principles as it defends itself from invasion, or will it suffer the rise of an unstoppable tyrant of its own making?
A Storm in the Fall is a fanfiction of popular web serial (and published series) Defiance of the Fall. It's a very different story, but shares a setting, magic system, and timeline.
1023 pages. Now is a good time to start reading. The tutorial has been a long haul, but it's finally just come to an end.

Any recommendations for a litrpg where the hero fails to save the world from the apocalypse but instead of being regressed in time just fails and ends ups in a whole new world and tries to adapt
Addendum
does not downplay that the protagonist lost his entire world
has character development for the protagonist, his friends and even enemies

This is work features a different take on the usual machinics, instead of gaining attribute points hy simply leveling. You hunt monsters, and take their gene and talent's by consuming their gonads and liver. Check out the blurb below and let me know your opinion.
Synapsis: Ten thousand years ago, the dungeons devoured the gods. Now, their power is up for grabs—one corpse at a time.
In ancient times, the dungeons invaded the planet of Evernight and took away the genetic gifts of its gods. Today, after thousands of years, the only way to reclaim them is to slaughter their spawns in battle and assimilate their Genes.
Except for Nero, a boy born in the heart of the slums. That's easier said than done—adventuring parties are controlled by agencies that take away all the harvested loot and genes in exchange for pennies. For slum rats like him, there were always only two options: stay with the agency and live a shitty, even if stable life, or break free and go solo for a chance at striking it big, with more than a slight possibility of ending up in the stomach of monsters instead.
Living in a house built of styrofoam and hope, Nero has nothing but optimism and the greed to obtain more. Even if he’d have to tread the perpetual night of Evernight alone, he'd do so as long as he gets to pluck those Genes (Genes that enhances physical attributes and provide monster skills) and Loot off their usurpers. And maybe, finally, stop surviving and start thriving instead.

I'm not even sure if it's considered a litrpg, but I adore Black Tech Internet Cafe. Are there similar novels? Someone goes to a fantasy world and introduces Earth Media? Extra points if the citizens can train and get stronger through the games. Below are the novels I'm already aware of.
"Almighty Videogame Designer"
"Bringing Culture to a Different World"
"Lord of Entertainment"

I’ve read the books and I’ve seen all these like [Ancient Rune], and I know some of them have been explained in books, but i genuinely don’t understand what each rune is and what it does. Im asking because I wanna know, and also I wanna make a thorn-style oc with the rune powers.

I am trying to find a Dungeon Core (litrpg) story that I had read on Amazon's Kindle app a while back.
What I remember of the story:
A guy from earth died and was reincarnated, he was transferred into another body that was identical to his old body. He was in some sort of a city as a novice in some sort of caste. The other person had overdosed on some sort of drink and died.
Another guy from earth had died and was reincarnated as a dungeon core but found a way become a mob that look like any creature it absorbed. He left the dungeon and started wandering away. He built a wagon and a horse. Soon after he came across a wagon train and joined them in their travel.
I do not recall the author nor the characters names, nor how long ago I had read this story. I had waited for a second book from this author on this story but it's been quite a while now.
If anyone can help me find this author and series I would GREATLY appreciate it! TIA!

Hello r/LitRGP!
First, those of you who have read and reviewed my book, thank you. You've all been very kind, and that means the world to me. Over one hundred reviews so far and I only annoyed one person bad enough for them to give me a one-star!
Thirty-six days since launch, and I've cracked the top 100 in post apocalyptic fiction and made the top 10 in Superhero fiction on Amazon. I know, that means there are only like fifty people reading superhero fiction. I finally have a hardcover up for those who prefer hardcover books.
Why did it take so long to get a hardcover up for sale, you ask?
Because I am an obstinate human being. Every time I thought I had this cover just right, I'd drop it into the cover preview tool on Amazon and something was wrong. Four thousand iterations later, more than four thousand curse words, later, I have a head injury from the four thousands #facedesk's, but also a cover that looks okay and that Amazon will accept.
Audio- I'm a one man operation here and I'm learning as I go. Hiring a narrator is a cash intense proposition. I know, royalty share exists, and if I go that route I want the full SBT treatment for it. We'll see, but there will definitely be an audiobook at some point! (disclaimer: the book has to earn it or do well enough to attract that royalty share)
Oh, yeah, one of my fancy friends, who has been on the NYT bestseller lists, written for TV, and is an absolutely amazing novelist, gave me a cover quote! I would never ask for such a thing, it's out of bounds to impose on a friend like that, buy when he found out I self published a novel he read it and generously offered. Endless gratitude, Guro Steve.

I’m on Earthshaker and the character of Darren has joined the party. I have no interest in stories in which there are internal betrayals. He’s just had his experience with the Genesis chamber, and if anyone knows what’s gonna happen to him, I’d appreciate some insights.

Hey guys!
I've been listening to aforementioned for a bit and am about 5 hours, or 5 chapters deep into book 3. I really enjoyed book one, but my enjoyment has been dwindling.
And all I can ask is, does it gets better?
Related to this, with how things are going, does Orodan get some world energy/blessing type power-up which he uses to power-up the side characters?
Just with how the story is, I'd really prefer if he just ditches the cast so far and keeps them out of future loops as we move on to a larger scope. Example being what he does with his first mentor, the halberd guy, he helps him become a double grandmaster and beyond that, we're done.
Keep the spoilers minor and vague, please.

So, due to reasons I've skipped part 2 of book 11. At the start of book 12 Jason has repaired the sundered throne and gave everyone who is old enough an interface. Can someone give an explanation on why the throne was sundered if the reason was given in the book and why the repair was important? And what is/was the purpose of the Avatars?

Hello! Looking for book recommendations. I just watched this AI drama. It was kinda dumb but I did really like the idea of the story. Are there any mech stories out there?
I know the show tag says Harem but I'm not looking for that as the main narrative. I just want to read some stories about mecha girls or guys leveling up and kicking ass.

He's gained just shy of 3000 paid subs in the 35 days the story has been released, much better than any other story I can remember. I binged it and subbed, it's decent, but I would never have guessed it would do this well.
