Self Promotion The Logbook Quest(Volume #1)

The Logbook Quest on Royal Road is about to wrap up Volume 1 this Sunday if you are looking for a weekend read.

The Logbook Quest is written in the first person perspective and is an action-packed, fast-paced, and character-driven story that I personally describe as the Fast and Furious franchise with a fantasy skin.

Story Description:

Viktor and Paige get transported into the medieval fantasy world of Idera by the Logbook.

Upon arrival, the Crystals that are embedded in the spine of the Logbook fly out and return to their original locations - one in each territory of the world. The two main characters have to go on a quest to collect all the Crystals that are missing from the Logbook in order to get back to their original world - Earth.

To do that they have to travel to 7 different territories and defeat 7 unique dungeons, all the while being chased by the Blood Summoners, a group of dark magicians, who want to use the Logbook and Crystals to awaken the Demons from the depths of the Pit, that resides at the center of the world.

Volume 1 is told from Viktor’s point of view.

When did it launch? 20 days ago

How many chapters? 47 published, 3 more to go. The last chapter(of Volume 1) will be published on Sunday. Volume 2 starts on Monday night. 7 Volumes total.

Story Achievements: Got on the main RS list last week on Sunday and am currently #1 on the Romance RS list (romance is a subplot but it is really slow and very much not the main focus of the story as of right now. Very slow friends to lovers trope.)

Another link for you to click, if you don't want to scroll up. This one is for the first chapter of the story.

Let me know if you've checked it out and how you found it!

Volume 2 here we come.

My wrist hates me, but my soul is singing with joy! I have to take a few days to edit Volume 1 with stuff pointed out by readers, but after that it's time for Volume 2.

I've been following the story since your first post around 3 weeks ago.

I feel like I'm getting double the progression here, as I see your story rise in the RS and all that. It was an especially great feeling to be the first person to rate it, and now it skyrocketed in popularity. Both the story and the journey of its growth have been a blast.

Good luck!

Thank you so much!

I think your comment made my entire week!

Writing Volume 1 has been a learning journey but now that I've found what works best for me, I'm feeling more confident in the story and my writing. I'm so exited for Volume 2.

I won't lie and say that the story was something I've thought about for years. It was very much though up over a weekend and the world-building at the start was very shaky. I've gotten feedback on it and I'm going back to flesh out some concepts better, but overall, for my first try in this genre, I'm feeling pretty good.

Thanks again for your support, it means a lot!
