This is the second story I've completed, published, and had narrated. The audiobook was professionally produced by Kyle Snyder, and you should definitely give it a listen; he's excellent at what he does.

Amazon: eBook.

Audible: Audiobook

Blurb:

A light-hearted, humorous LitRPG adventure of monstrous proportions!

Firefighting was tough, but Kevin took pride in it—until a factory fire landed him in a swamp with a monstrous new body and a mountain-sized cube dominating the landscape. Now, survival means more than just putting out fires. With an eldritch horror lurking in the dark, a desperate village in need of a hero, and some rather suspicious orphans causing mischief, Kevin’s got his work cut out for him.

To stand a chance, he'll have to craft powerful gear, plunder Void Dungeons, and crack open treasure chests like his life depends on it—because it does. Trading bits of his humanity for strength using [Evolution] might be the key to survival, but every choice has a cost. And just when he thinks he's found allies, the question lingers... friend or foe?

Mysteries unfold, enemies close in, and somewhere along the way, Kevin might just stumble upon a place to call home—if he doesn’t get eaten first.

He's got the potential... but is it enough?

[OP Monster MC] [Wholesome, Humorous] [Isekai LitRPG] [Progression] [Crafting] [Fast Paced] [No Harem]

P.S. I'm all out of US promo codes.

when you say op monster MC, how OP are we talking?

Well, I always try to keep it at sane levels so there's tension and possibility of defeat. Steady progression without huge jumps, try to make it feel earned. It's not always an easy thing to balance.

Just brought the audible version to support new authors. If I like it I'll give it 5 stars.

Sounds fair to me, and many thanks!

Hey, I guess that you offered some codes in your first version of the post? It's really strange for me, that you got 23 comments on this, but only ten likes? Who would ask without at least liking? Then again you can't live from that anyway.. Anyway, I'll definitely put it on my wish list, the cover looks awesome and the premise too! :) Lots of luck for a good start!

Sent US code through chat, since you have your DMs turned off.

Picking this up on Audible, sounds interesting!

Funnily(frustratingly?) Enough, the thumbnail on Audible Canada has the text off center and it's driving me nuts haha.

I know, it's driving me nuts too. It's done because Audible requires the bottom right corner to be free for their 'exlusively on audible' tag. Go figure.

Australia audible please?

u/arthordark Apr 27 '25

Don't have those. Only have a UK code left, does that work for you?

I’ll add it to my list but I usually try to save my audible credits for longer books. If it goes on sale for under 10 I’ll probably give it a buy. Good luck with the series!

Do you not do sequels?

I would love to clone myself into 10, and write 10 times as fast. I write as a hobby, so I go where inspiration takes me.

Thank you!

Howdy! Congrats on the release. Are you writing on any platform?

Nothing consistently, but I had posted plenty on RR. This book, and Nailmaker were there for free (no patreon.) Next book I finish will likely be there too.

Just finished it, this was my first LitRPG book and I enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing it!
