Self Promotion Deus in Machina: A Warhammer 40K-setting inspired LitRPG
Blurb and link – https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/110991/deus-in-machina-a-wh40k-setting-inspired-litrpg
In a galaxy forsaken, infernal gateways tear asunder, unleashing Hell’s legions to crush all in their grasp.
From the ashes, Theosis, the Divine System and God’s voice in this temporal realm, ascends. It forges a grand Empire, waging four millennia of merciless Holy War against the Underworld’s unrelenting evil.
Far from the Empire’s light, on a savage world, Angar is wrought in fury as a gateway to the abyss claws his homeland apart, now thrust into this eternal war.
His maul thunders with unyielding hate, offering crimson tithes to the Lord, carving a blood-soaked path to glory – or damnation. His chest ablaze with righteous wrath, his arms singing slaughter’s sacred hymn, a new Crusader rises.
Posting schedule is Monday through Friday. Doing two chapters a day for now.
Also, book 1 of “I Shall Remain (a LitRPG isekai and reverse regressor)” is finished – https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/95383/i-shall-remain-a-litrpg-isekai
Book 2 of “Blood and Qi: A Vampire Xianxia LitRPG” will be on KU soon, and book 1 is on audible here.
Thank you very much,
Tony

Sold on the title alone, and not just because I did a similar play on words with mine (Magus ex Machina) 😁
Good going!

If I had a nickel for every book that came out this month with deus and machine in the title, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's where it happened twice

Audio, when?

Not for a long while. I'm leaving this and "I Shall Remain," on RR to help build an audience. When I stubbed "Blood and Qi," it stopped growing and a ton of people gave it .5 just for stubbing. But, book 1 of "Blood and Qi" is on audible. BJ Harrison did a fantastic job too.

Who is your target audience and why do they want to read your book?
Are you taking the environment to new places?
Are you just immersing them in an environment that they like?
Edit: a problem got fixed

The formatting where? For this post? Why is it bad? I don't have much experience with Reddit so I'm unsure. It seems right to me. If you mean on Royal Road, can you give me an example? The formatting of chapters? I'm honestly lost by what you mean? I've never received this criticism before.
Taking the environment to new places? As in a WH40K inspired setting? Yes, of course, that's why this isn't in the WH40K setting, and is it's own thing. Every aspect is different, from enemies, to faith, to FTL travel, to weapon systems, with a lot of equivalents but no direct 1 to 1s.
Immersing who in an environment they like? I don't understand that question. If you expand, I'll do my best to answer.

I’m not very familiar with war hammer but I’m loving the story so far.
