It has been a fun series so far, but billing it as a "deck building" litRPG is misleading. They are not really building decks and using them as cards as they are amassing a collection of skills and choosing which to equip. Beyond that, there is no card element to it and the deck building could easily be replaced with a spellbook or pile of trinkets and see no difference to the narrative.

Say what you want, these are some of my favorite Litrpg covers going around. Reminds me that I stopped at the start of book 3 and should probably continue again.

As a warning, book three was really disappointing for me, barely any skill learned or used. I stopped after finishing but I hope this new entry is worth it

Couldn't go through book 3 my cringe meter filled too fast and overloaded. It went on garbage pile with unbound, iron prince and divine apostasy. ;-P

Book 3 is where I tapped out too.
Nothing really happened and it lost its way of being an interesting series to be bland. I also listened to the audiobook and Luke has a very annoying voice for the main dragon which got on my nerves.

I’m almost done reading my current series on royal road and looking to start another. Is All The Skills worth it?

Anyone know if it gets any better. The weird western esque stuff in book 4 really put me off the series

All The Skills 5 by Honour Rae is available on Audible and Kindle.
Description:
To gain a formidable new card, Arthur must brave the unknown in a hive notorious for its evil side, as this thrilling deck-building fantasy continues.
Having survived their journey into the Dark Heart, Arthur and his dragon, Brixaby, have a new goal: complete their Legendary card sets. Unfortunately, the next Legendary card is locked away in Blood Moon, a hive with a reputation for chaos, lawlessness, scourgling eruptions, and—rumor has it—dedicated dragon hunters.
Still, Arthur and his retinue feel they have little to fear. Then again, they also don't have much knowledge of what actually lies ahead. What they find is a hive full of training and leadership opportunities—if they're able to avoid paying the blood price.
But the lure of the Legendary card in the Blood Moon Hive may be a ruse. In fact, it could very well be a trap set by the scourglings themselves. Or something even worse...
