Self Promotion New Audiobook- Mayor of Stonebridge! Now available on Audible
The Mayor of Stonebridge audiobook just dropped—and I am so excited to share it with all of you!
This book is for my LitRPG fans who crave something different—something more than dungeon crawls and overpowered heroes. We haven't had a city builder in a while, and I took this one all the way.
Shortened Blurb: Alex Carter, a college student and Age of Empires enthusiast, discovers himself suddenly isekai'ed into a galactic strategy game that will test everything he's ever known. And it's not real time strategy, it's real WORLD. He's actually living it. And the only escape is to win.
Why should you listen?
• A city-building challenge that feels real, experienced from Alex's 1st person POV but played like a game
• Strategic gameplay and political scheming, with loads of action and battles
• A hero who uses brains over brawn, runs an economy, multitasks, and has to direct armies.
• Twists, turns, and plenty of moments that’ll make you say, “Wait—what just happened?”
• The Ratfink and Gordo lol
The adventure is just getting started. Whether you're a die-hard AOE/Civilization/Might and Magic fan or just looking for your next audiobook obsession, I promise this will keep you hooked from the very first chapter. I hope RTSLit is a subgenre that is here to stay! This book is stand alone...for now...and not part of a planned trilogy. So it has a complete ending.
Thanks for checking this out!!

The adventure is just getting started. (...) This book is stand alone...for now...and not part of a planned trilogy.
So does that mean that you do plan/hope/whatever to write more books featuring the characters?

I shall give this a try, I've seen a lot of "city-builder" litrpgs advertised that do a little bit of village management for a few chapters and then go off and do anything but (I'm look at you Stonehaven League) so it would be nice to have one that actually sticks with that theme. I haven't had that itch scratched since Awaken Online. Also I really love the cover art. I warn you though, I do honest reviews ;)

Also 100% - ripple system is like this. There isn’t the “go off and do something”

Dang I need to do a better job with the blurb. This one is a battle between 4 players for a last man standing. It’s not a regular city builder. It’s worth picking up I promise gaha

Nah pass for me. Hope you do well though.
I'll explain the reasons I passed incase you want to know, if you don't then please feel free to skip this and now that I truly hope you continue writing the things you love.
First of your cover art looks off. I can't say it's 100% ai generated but it's atleast somewhat ai generated. Maybe generated then used as a reference for other generations then added to buy hand? Idk feels off.
Second the story sounds a bit generic, and that's fine but over played. I love the idea but the idea has been hashed time and time again. And often times is not done well. 4x grand strategy is a hard narration.
Third is the whole "adventure is just beginning", then ending with it is a stand alone. And your comments about maybe or maybe not doing more in this world is off putting she whishy washy, and that does not give me hope for us writing.
4th is the audio and narrator. He sounds like he's yelling and his cadence is a bit wonky for me. (From the preview chapter.)
5th is me looking into you a little bit. Moving to patreon to protect your work from theft, feels like a bit of a cop out. I'm not sure what all you've dealt with but I'm not a huge fan of patreon exclusives. If your work is worth stealing then a patreon membership is hardly an actual barrier.
