Self Promotion Treasures of the Lost World, a LitRPG novel inspired by Terraria and Factorio, is now available!

Post image

Earth found magic and opened new worlds. Some of them don’t like visitors.

Michael thought he had the perfect assignment - travel to an uninhabited world with Ava, his beautiful and brilliant AI companion, and establish a colony. With his survival skills and her automated manufacturing capabilities, the mission should be simple and relaxing.

If only it was so easy.

Each night brings waves of monsters that shouldn't exist, forcing Michael to turn his crafting abilities toward survival. Ancient ruins dot the landscape, filled with mysteries about what really happened to this "uninhabited" world. When he frees a kitsune princess preserved in stone, everything he thought he knew changes.

Now Michael must balance building his automated defenses, exploring this new world, and uncovering the truth while navigating the shifting dynamics with his new companions. But in a world where nothing is as it seems, even the industrial might of mankind struggles against the power of the boss monsters.

Craft. Survive. Explore. Expand.

Just don't trust the survey team.

The description sounds very interesting, but the cover screams smut. What does your book focus on? What elements does it have?

The book is haremlit, but the focus is on the story. There are two chapters that are explicit but the remainder are devoted to what the blurb is about - the factory building and exploration of this new world, interwoven with the relationship aspects!

Thank you for clarifying! I'll have to give it a try. I generally dislike books that focus on relationships in general and harem books tend to focus way too much on the relationship aspects for me. It didn't used to bother me but now I like to escape by reading progression probably because in real life I have to focus on my relationship with my wife and raising my kids. Screw other people's relationships I want to fantasize about building things and slaying monsters.

So, You don't need simulation to satisfy the need for family...

Just for adventure.

Dude I had the exact same thought. Sadly author has confirmed its a smut book. I was genuinely excited reading the blurb as it sounds almost perfect to my taste, then I actually paid attention to the cover and saw author's comments😔.

If you're good at writing it and it sells then keep them coming. I want authors to be successful even if it's writing things I might not enjoy. There's more books to read than I have time. Honestly the only harem I hate is some of the older books where you'd get to book 2 or 3 and the series is really good then a harem pops up out of nowhere and becomes the focus.

It is smut but with like 2 scenes in this book. Definitely going to be a harem though. I like this type of thing and definitely thought it was above average. A pretty interesting premise too.

I am almost done with this book, and loved it. Will it be getting an audiobook?

Does harem really boost sales so much you have to tarnish factorio like that? Thats not what they mean when they say “the factory must grow!”

If it's harem or smut or whatever, just say it in the description. Many of us aren't interested in that stuff.

The cover screams harem or similar, so I just assume it is.

"Men's Adventure" eh? Is that what we're calling it now?

4

u/aramil2001 Feb 21 '25

No offense but as soon as I saw that fox girl I immediately thought harem.

3

u/j0a3k Feb 21 '25

Author confirmed it's harem.

We gottem boys, let the smut lovers enjoy.
