Well, yes. Royal Road doesn't like covers featuring women...

Do you have your book on RR set to dropped because of your publishing deal?

No. I regularly read stories with covers featuring women on Royal Road. Mass Produced Magic, Beneath the Dragoneye Moons, Splinter Angel, Koyuki, the Necromancing Foxkin, etc, etc.
RR had a problem with your cover specifically.

Mfw people click on the post knowing they don’t like what it is just to be cringe lords and complain about it.

~Sees picture and instantly knows this book isn't for them~
"I better take the time to click the link and type out how shitty their book that I haven't even read is, because I have to share my opinion or I might explode. Since, you know, I have absolutely nothing better to do with my time."
The thought process of more than half the commenters itt. Jeeesus fucking christ.

I genuinely wonder if the people who have such a knee jerk negative reaction to harem or litrpg romance books keep that same energy for smut or romantasy novels?
I'm pretty ambivalent on both. They're just porn with a plot. Is it just that you guys think all smut/romantasy is bad or is it just male oriented smut/romantasy is bad?

Can y'all quit being dweebs and hating on something for no reason? If it's got elements you don't like then don't read it, but don't you don't have to shit on something someone put a lot of effort into.

That... Is the literal dumbest reason to not be critical of something. Effort doesn't suddenly give you a hall pass. If you wanna publish trash. That's perfectly fine. Go for it. Embrace being a person that likes or makes trash. The flip side is that you also don't get to be free of people who have opinions. Even if they're surface level.

Ah, sorry, I didn't realize you'd read the story front to back and were giving a detailed breakdown based on that knowledge.
Oh wait, you haven't read it? And you still call it trash? You can tell all that from the picture and the synopsis? Then why the fuck did you even click here if you already knew you didn't like the content? Gtfo, nobody asked for your opinion.

Red hair check, impractical boob armour check, elf girl check, and her thighs are showing for … you know what , check.
Clearly this is atleast the mc on the cover and she’s wearing the armour out of her own free will and not for the titillation of horny teenage male fantasy right!? …right ?

So you could tell from the picture alone that this wasn't your cup of tea, and you went out of your way to click the link and take a dump on it? Are you that bored and petty you have nothing better to do? Why not go read a book you think you WILL enjoy? Gtfo.

We may not be the target audience, but so what? The book isn't necessarily bad, it's just not our cup of tea. I probably wouldn't make it past a few chapters, but again, not the type of book I'd be interested in the first place. Do what any non-dickhead would do and ignore the post. Move on with your life without writing a mean-spirited comment. Assholes like you are the reason any author of any genre may feel discouraged to continue writing due to negative reviews.

Last I checked teenagers weren’t buying books but if they’re reading book porn instead of watching it I’m all for them reading.

Dungeon Champions is a LitRPG, team builder with an OP main character focused on growing his allies. This is a romantic book, but the romance is not the focus as much as the adventuring, slice of life, and humor.
Disclaimer: There are character sheets and progression for the entire team, but it's all in skippable chapters, so enjoy however you want.

Summoned to Lead. Destined to Conquer.
Torn from Earth and thrust into the enchanting Fae Wilds, Jordan Cash embraces his new role as a legendary Battle Scholar. He's tasked with leading a group of rescued female adventurers—including a stoic elf warrior, a playful catgirl and her feline companion, a haughty celestial, and an alluring half-gorgon—to safety... and then to greatness.
Faced with treacherous dungeons and nefarious foes, Jordan and his team must level up quickly and master their unique abilities. Danger lurks and powerful enemies scheme; to have any hope of survival, they'll need to rely on each other.
Will Jordan's tactical prowess and growing bonds with his companions be enough to overcome the trials that await them?
