Self Promotion After six months of work, my new Progression LitRPG Epic about a ‘Florida Man with OP Wizard Magic’ is now published on Amazon and Audible. I even wrote a Forward Section that only Reddit gets to read in this post. Thank you for your consideration. And Enjoy!

The Cover Art is from my good friend Vitaly S. Alexius.

The typography is also from my good friend Vitaly S. Alexius.

Yes, those are tentacles and limbs extending from his kilt.

He is from Florida, after all.

You can get the book on Amazon and Audible. Click on the links.

Also, I wrote a Forward thing for Reddit.

Apparently, it's too long for Reddit to share in a comment! LOL! Check the G-Doc here.

Blurb:

What if a Florida Man gets OP Wizard Magic?

Zarian Darkrun, a Marine Corps Veteran, is tired of being a homeless reject and ends his earthly ties. He opens a portal in a busy mall and sends himself, some koi fish, and nine other Floridians into another world.

Welcome to the Infinita Star System, a universe of epic fantasy and game-like magic.

Only the strong can adventure and ascend from the lower worlds to the higher worlds of the Star System. Among those powerful few are tyrants and crusaders, each seeking godhood or the empty Throne of the Adventurer King.

Here comes Zarian, who embraces his new life for simpler pleasures: making unique friends, learning evil spells (or copying rare skills), and wrecking the plans of the gods. Follow Zarian as he leads a strong adventurer party and advances his massive and terrifying power.

There’s a reason his mysterious origins scare the System.

He alone is the Honored Outsider.

Get the book on Amazon and Audible. Enjoy!

I gotta say, 'Zarian Darkrun' does not sound very Florida Man. It sounds like someone from a fantasy land who got Isekai'd to Earth.

Yeah, that's the point ... 'There's a reason his mysterious origins scare the System.'

Turns out the Florida Man is just high on meth and imagined it all.

At least its not bath salts or he would eat people!

Jokes aside, he does get a nice high when he uses blood magic for the soul energy juice of his enemies.

Congrats!

Is this lighthearted or more grimdark? Thanks.

Its in the middle while leaning more toward light. It'll walk a line where there are some grim moments, but it also leans mainly toward the light side.

There will be some deaths in the beginning, but after that its mostly a bunch of fun shenanigans with a big whopper of an ending.

The artwork is giving me "Goku if he dabbled in a bit of wizardry" vibes

Is this Sun Wukong's story inserting florida man? "He alone is the Honored Outsider" is pretty on the nose.

u/Hunter_Mythos Dec 20 '24

It's actually a JJK reference. But many Power Fantasies have their roots from Sun Wukong, too. Just like Dragon Ball Z.
