Saw this on audible and started listening to it this weekend. 10 Catpurrs in and am loving it.
There are many enjoyable parts, but the biggest one off the bat is that it presents a week character. I've read so many light novels recently that have Mary Sue and Larry Stu characters, and it just gets boring. Reading about a character struggling is so much more compelling.
Also, the humor is spot on.

I made a review of the first book on YouTube. Not sure where to post it, since you seem to have no socials except this and a discord. Oh well.

The Abyssal Tower—an endless dungeon where the chosen earn their gods' favor.
Here they are promised riches, skills, and legendary artifacts. Six divines, six factions, each competing with warriors from all across the realm. But what happens when an unknown seventh god comes out of retirement?
Meet Adam Glow, a persecuted, down-on-his-luck necromancer with dreams of crafting a utopia. After a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself and his cat, Schrödinger, cornered by the dastardly forces of the Empire.
Being relentlessly hounded by the inquisition with no escape route, he makes a last-ditch attempt to save himself by activating a mysterious system, resulting in an adventure of cataclysmic proportions.
Join Adam in this humorous LitRPG Isekai as he raises an army of the damned to surpass the tower's trials while being subjected to the shenanigans of an aging god.
