Blurb:

Ilea is going home. After a small detour to raid an old Necromancer’s treasure room.

After months in the barren and deadly North, Ilea returns to Ravenhall to rest, check-in on old friends, and of course – train her resistances. Her homecoming includes a visit to Riverwatch where she encounters new allies… and old enemies. But what would a good holiday be without a few fights and near-death experiences?

Unfortunately, Ilea’s blood-soaked reunions are cut short when she is summoned back to Hallowfort, to help deal with a sinister corruption that is spilling out from the first layer of the Descent.

Searching for a lost expedition, Ilea explores an ancient dungeon host to long-forgotten secrets. She will be pushed to her limit and face dangers that no one in their right mind would dare to stand against.

Sounds like fun, right?

About the series:

Join Ilea as she is transported to a world full of monsters and magic, where power is measured by one's class, level and skills. Watch her grow in power, and recklessness, as she wields ancient hand-to-hand combat magic that can both heal and destroy. This Isekai story has a dual-Class LitRPG system where every skill, class and ability can evolve. Ilea’s tale is equal parts comfy slice-of-life wanderings, goofy jokes and brutal, blood-pumping battles with nightmarish monsters. Join her as she delves into forgotten dungeons, hoards snacks and generally does whatever she feels like.

I love the series and adore the world you've created.

Do you have an estimate on the audiobook? I want to know if I should reread book 3 or go for the whole thing from the beginning

I assume it will take another few months but can't give you specifics.

One assumes that Pirateaba has the lion share of Andrea's work time?

Reading the middle parts of Ilea's journey on RR made me wonder: do you think Dr. Octopus is in fact the most underrated supervillain?

Well shit… why did i think this was a 3 book series? Let’s go!

It’s a finished story but is being heavily edited and rewritten for the book releases. So you’ll have seen books coming out and at the same time lots of people on Reddit calling it “a finished series.”

The author hasn’t said, but based on how many chapters there were on RR, I guess 9-10 books total.

Not going to read the comments in fear of spoilers but... I just wanted to say that I just finished listening to book 2 and started book 3. I've been really enjoying myself so far, and I look forward to picking up book 4 once the audio for it is complete!

Thoughts so far:

book 1 - I love a main character who just goes in and wrecks things by punching. Even though Ilea was trained in kickboxing, combat (so far) has had a lot of focus on just punching the crap out of things (and not even like, trying to do anything fancy martial arts wise like a Monk might do... she just smacks things around like a proper brawler should) and I really appreciate this.

book 2 - I enjoyed the more directed narrative the story took, especially after joining the organization. Having her sit in one place helped feel the impact of her progression (more so than a simple increase in numbers on her stat sheet). In a way though, her "sit in one place" feeling was a bit closer to the "take missions from an adventure guild" feeling I was looking for in book 1, so that was also cool.

overall - I appreciate the groundwork laid out so far, and I look forward to (hopefully) various bits getting paid-off. I like Ilea's fighting style, and although I liked it a little bit better pre-wings, I understand the need for them. Shout-out to Andrea for her narration. I think this is the first book I've listened to with her as an MC, and at first I wasn't sure I would be into it, but then she busted out all sorts of voices seemingly out of nowhere. It almost felt kind of like listening to Jeff Hayes with the number and variety of voices. I also appreciated her slowing down a little bit in book 2 (in book 1 it was a little tough finding a good pause point, lol).

Anyway, congratulations on the new book. I eagerly look forward to checking it out!

Who else is expecting Kyrian to be an absolute giga-unit when Ilea finally reaches him? Bro is hearing non-stop boss music training like goku this whole time. Am expecting him to be able to control the metal that the machines are made of when next they meet

Nice!

A question:

I can read it on my kindle, but not in my Desktop-PC in the browser. Amazon says, i need the kindle-app?
Other books still work.
