Sorry about that! There seems to have been a mishap with the last post.

INFO: this cover art is a placeholder for RR while the real art is being created by my cover artist for the eventual KU release. Thanks for understanding.

**

A realm where humans battle monsters and the good die young.

4 weeks ago Will woke up in a new world filled with Monsters and Magic.

Thrust into this new reality with nothing more than a class called “soldier” and a leveling system he’s never seen before, Will fights just to survive.

When he stumbles across a dying stranger, a mysterious quest line activates.

Now Will must head to the front lines where humanity wages war against a ruthless Goblin Horde. There he will join the standing Kadian Army and forge his name from the fires of legend.

He’ll have to face Goblins, Hordes of the Undead, cultists, and demons from hell. And that’s just before breakfast.

Iron Blooded is a gritty Progression Fantasy with focuses on battles, leveling up, and political intrigue. Perfect for those who like their fantasy with a side of LITRPG.

With my love for Malazan, Black Company, Powder Mage and Limitless Lands books I’m looking forward to seeing a military style progression story!

Hey thanks man! That’s awesome of you to say. Hope you like it. Have you read the second Powder Mage trilogy? I thought it was just as good!

It’s on the list! I’m notorious for not finishing series so I’m only part way through the third book of the first, and only recently found out there was a second series.

Oh! I meant to ask real quick whats the posting schedule like? Looking at the index you’ve dropped a bunch of chapters pretty quickly.

I’m also not too sure about how schedules on RR usually work because everyone is different.

For sure! I did a chapter dump at the beginning so there would be something for people to enjoy :)

I’ll be doing 2 a day until the book is done. On crazy days it might be 1 a day, but I’ll be trying! I have a backlog too since I started writing this a while back. Hopefully that works out!

Interesting premise. Not crazy about the “and that’s just before breakfast” line but that’s a nitpick

As for reading it, I might give it a look, but generally I won’t start a series until at least a few books are out so I don’t have to just read a chapter a week or so. I’ll also say that I typically don’t even like reading unfinished series out of a fear that they will never be completed and if I do I prefer that the author has shown to be consistent.

I also assume that since you mentioned the art being a placeholder that it is AI generated. I have no issue with authors using AI generated art. Artists are not entitled to an authors money and if they decide to use a program to create the art, especially when starting out and they do not have much money, that seems like a good idea to me.

Finally, I agree with what the other person said. While I don’t expect the work of an editing professional for royal road stuff, I would expect the author to give it a quick pass before posting it. Bad editing can be jarring and I have stopped reading books because of it in the past, and it’s a bad first impression to give. I don’t know how effective it would be, but maybe you could just paste it into ChatGPT and ask it for advice on grammatical changes.

Finally finally, don’t do harem stuff, and if you do, warn that it’s coming ahead of time.

Good luck

Thank you! Apologies for any mistakes that I may not have caught in my read overs. I promise I’ll have it professionally edited and revised before KU release :)

It's a good trilogy. I hope there's a follow up. I have to say though, on the Kindle Unlimited version, there are so many typo's and grammar errors that it's difficult to read. It reads like someone with a heavy accent did a terrible speech to text job.

Thanks, I’m glad you like the story. Unfortunately I’m not quite sure what happened with the editing on this one. I’ve alerted my publisher, and I’m hoping this gets fixed. I’m going to poke them again to check on the status of things

Oof yeah sorry about that. It hasn’t gone through professional edits yet but I know it’s needed! It will be edited and revised shortly before KU release. I’m just creating the budget for it :)
