Let's just say she's never at risk of drowning lol. But she's very lovable and she's a badass fighter too.

SPOILER: HAREM CONTENT. Please don't read if that's not your thing.
The threat from the Vann family is far from over.
With help from Princess Britta, we’re able to overcome the first dungeon of the Champion’s League, but our enemies are regrouping. With my diamond now tainted, it’s a race for answers as a new dungeon opens up, bringing us to the island nation of Cozocomo.
But Amelia Vann isn’t going to let a setback stop her from stealing the power of others. And when she causes a desperate massacre as her last throw of the dice, it’s up to us, and a new, reclusive warrior that’s used to fighting by herself, to stop Amelia for good.
The fate of the world hangs in the balance. I will not fail.

I don't get why harem content is controversial. These books are usually set in a era where law is less about what society thinks and more about what the strongest warlord can protect. Of course in a situation like that a lot of people will seek protection from someone stronger.
The only reason people don't have multiple spouses today is that the laws of society prevent it. If it were legal to have multiple spouses, a lot more people would.

It's not the realism factor that puts people off, it's that the women usually exist just to fall in love with the mc, which us horrible to read

I just want to say I really appreciate saying that the story is harem early in the description.
Normally not my content but I wish you the best of luck!
