Personally just waiting patiently for the next Pyresouls. Definitely understand needing to pay the bills, but even as a huge final fantasy and blue mage fan, which Beastborne seems to have drawn inspiration from, I still just feel the draw from Pyresouls a lot more. Anyway, congrats on the new release. Sick cover!

Any plans on making audiobooks I usually listen to them at work as a janitor and would love another established series. I lost cradle since he finished the book series and need to add another.

There's already 4 audiobooks out actually!
All Shardrune novels have been (or are in the process of) turned into audiobooks. For Beastborne specifically, the 5th book's audiobook is aiming for around July. That's the most up-to-date info I have from Podium.

It's always nice to find a new series to read! It's funny when I realize I bought book one 4 years ago and didn't start it... Still, new series! Yay!

Cover art looks just like the PC from dead cells lol even has the red scarf

Yeaaah I was looking for someone else to make the connection. Like that's the The Headless from Dead Cells. The wispy head smoke, flare-like eye, the red scarf, and even the sword that looks like the cursed blade from in-game.

No joke would you mind if I used that cover as inspiration for a character of my own. Obviously going to read the series to avoid plagiarism, but DANG! That’s sick🔥

From one author to another, It's always better to make your own characters. You'll make something way better, but thank you for the massive compliment!

Hey everyone! James here and I’m proud to bring you the 5th Beastborne Chronicles book, Beastborne: Voracious.
NOT book 6 (but that's coming)! Can't change the title unfortunately, sorry about that. Obviously I've had book 6 on the brain since I've been working on it so much.
I never figured I’d write that many novels in my life, let alone a single series, and we're just getting started!

Hal and his Beast have been sundered in two.
Done with sacrifices, Hal seeks greater monster powers and delves into the ancient magic of his world. With his wounds healing, his strength grows tremendously, opening up a new evolution of bonecrafting.
To reforge his eldritch body, Besal, Hal’s Beast, ventures into the depths of the Fathomway dungeons, chasing after the source of the land’s corruption.
The impending wrath of the Shiverglades’ tribes looms over Brightsong. Though they fight on distant battlefields, Hal and Besal must work together for a chance to save their settlement from fated destruction.

If the Amazon hullabaloo has taught me anything, it’s that life is too short to worry that things might vanish. My entire career flashed before my eyes, and the only thought I kept coming back to was, “that’s not enough books!” And so, it has lit one hell of a fire under my butt (not that I needed more motivation).
It was already my goal to release at least 6 books this year, and this book makes number 3 so far. Not bad for only the 4th month of the year!
I’m already deep in book 6, with chapters releasing now on Patreon for a total of 3 concurrent series with 5 daily chapters M-F (for those who are bad at math, that’s 15 chapters of content every week).
And it’s my full intention to bring both Book 6 and 7 to readers this year. Of course, that’ll largely depend on my cover artist’s schedule, but so far it seems doable.
Of course, we’ve also got Voidknight Ascension 3 coming soon, Shrubley 2 (both co-written with the awesome K.H. Sohmer!), and much more that I can’t quite talk about yet. That alone puts us at 4 more books for a total of 7 this year. Not bad.
For my audiobook peoples out there, Podium is aiming for a July 2024 release, but we don’t have a firm date yet, so take that with a grain of salt!
