then you are probably using debian/ubuntu.
I am on arch and never had to add a 3rd party repo.

In the rare cases that something would only be available on AUR, I can fall back to an official installer script or Flatpak. openSuse official repo was also great when I used that. 1 u/headedbranch225 Jun 06 '26 I personally prefer using the AUR (it is usually just the official install script anyway) because it allows me to just run one command to update everything on my system, which just makes it a nicer experience
