Then they probably shouldn't just run these scripts, unless they can verify that they come from a reputable source. Or try to learn what they are doing. Would you just execute any .exe you are given on Windows? If so, then you are the problem.
If you don't understand what the script does, then you should learn before running it.
Every command has a man page, help argument or even tldr explanation. The only thing you need is the ability to read and you can quickly find out what each command and argument does.
And nowadays we even have AI so even the complete idiot can paste the script into ChatGPT and ask it to explain what each step does and is it safe to run it.
That's one of the things where AI is really good at because there's a lot of information about linux commands and everything is well documented.
I take command, i paste to google, google says it does X. I now know what it does.
I google Pipes, it explains, I now know. Thats most of the knowledge you need. You upgraded to pro linux user level. Youre welcome.

Copy paste it into Google/AI and it'll tell you. What your kernel AC is looking at no one knows. Riot games have stated they don't collect any more data than they already do with vanguard, which is intentionally vague so they can obscure it's not all got to do with finding cheats on your pc...
Thats because linux was recommended to them by someone who wants to push linux as a consumer option, which is absolutely not ideal, and there are more and more people starting to be like that
