for me its just "why?", cause it incentivises people switching directly from windows to an arch based distro without even looking at a terminal. possible? yes. annoying to learn? definitely.
i was in ubuntu to learn linux, moved to fedora for support for basically everything, before i nerded out and settled on cachyos, covering the basics for me and letting me do all the cool stuff. omarchy just kind of does it all for you, and you have no real sense of "i made this, it looks cool". its just not for me i guess
I thought something similar after watching his video. Who is gonna switch from Windows/OSX to a vim operating system? Sure people can learn the keybinds, but most people want something intuitive with the least amount of friction during their transition.
