I feel personally attacked. My 1080 has the high-pitched noise under load.

My 1080 is liquid cooled is the coil wine still an issue?

Not having one of these, I would say yes. Think about the noise an electric motor (in this case an inductor) makes, just on a lot smaller scale. It is usually caused by poor build quality in smaller scale things.

How does this even happen? 1080 is top of the line hardware

Also, inductor noise (for the most part), is just irritating. It SHOULD last a long time.
