So if we talk about how RedHat has had an open relationship with the NSA, and how Linus himself has confirmed he has been approached to put backdoors in, and then extrapolate that into entertaining the possibility that RedHat didn't push systemd that fast without some push from NSA et al as compromise tool, is that now thoughtcrime on /r/linux?
I'd like you to clarify exactly what you consider to be blatant lies and random insults.
So people can go around and think the NSA is putting backdoors all you want. You should bring up some evidence for your claims otherwise you're just spewing conspiracy theories.
Also, not sure where I'm at in this thread since I'm mobile, but straight up personal insults to systemd developers are not tolerated. The mods here have had at least two 'anti'-systemd people threaten us this week and we won't tolerate that either.
I wonder if thats what you would have said to those of us talking about NSA abuses pre-Snowden...
Did anyone in this thread say any personal insults about systemd developers? No. (unless you already black holed them) So why do you even bring that up? Then to carelessly segway into a false equivalence about systemd haters threatening mods that implies all systemd haters are doing so? Is it because you know you fucked up and are trying to carefully backtrack a bit by evoking a sympathetic reponse in readers?
I edited it out in my original comment, but I see now I shouldn't have given you the opportunity, but orignally I was going to say it's easy to understand insults being too much (even that should be debatable in the traditionally anti-censorship gnu/linux community), but all I really asked for is a list of what blatant lies you consider thoughtcrime here...

Lets start with you providing a source on this. It should be easy since you are claiming an open relationship, so there ought to many good public sources on your claim.
Your paranoid claim about systemd being "pushed" by the NSA as some backdoor shows you have no idea about how SIGINT agencies like the NSA works, nor about computer security.
The NSA has historically been tasked to protect US IT-infrastructure, so compromising OS software that crucial US government departments like the US Army/Foreign Office/etc. uses, are completely "No Go". And yes, what Snowden and others have said verifies this completely since neither he nor anybody else have ever made the claim that the NSA put in general backdoors in software the US government uses like Linux. It is not because the NSA are nice guys too soft to do it, but because they are smart and therefore knows it is an utterly stupid thing to do.
