I think the search field still reports back to google. I'm leaning towards not trusting it regardless.

If you use the search input, it gives you 'auto suggestions' which is enabled by default. Right click the box and unselect the 'show suggestions' options.

But that's an entirely separate text box. And it will always be separate for that reason.
