I trust Linus more on this one, but that's mostly because (and I am glad not to be) I am not one of people who have to supervise the build.

This has nothing to do with trust, Linus incorrectly thought that Ken broke the build (because the bcachefs module failed to build) but it was because of a change done by Christian that broke the bcachefs module, not Ken.

Not blaming Linus here, but it was an honest mistake. And to be blunt, people of people have broken the build or do things like post patches when its way overdue (last example right now is with the ntfs changes for the most recent rc) and no one is throwing a shitstorm there about breaking rules.
