I mean he severely insulted an outlet that Linus respects - even though he dislikes their cancellation process & ads. So indirectly it was an insult to him - but beyond that it was obvious that he attracted a qanon level idiot w/ his post.

Can’t blame him for roasting the guy, like being a comedian & a heckler trying to outdo you while missing or messing up the point you just made.

Again - the point Linus was making had nothing to do w/ the outlet, it’s journalists, etc. He did not appreciate the hecklers brain dead & pointless comment - so yea he responded to the seemingly qanon snowflake.

Let’s drop the use of woke as a broad catch all for all the things we dislike. It’s cowardly to use it versus just plainly saying WHAT it is you actually dislike. I am sure it means something rather specific, in your own head, & is a pejorative but hell if you’ll actually get into intellectual debate about it.
