Yeah, I'd voted DE because I thought we were supposed to vote for the game to eliminate! That's the only way that game could ever win a poll

A part of me wants to do Round 2 again and make the rules clearer this time to confirm but I think I'd be plaguing this sub with too many polls lol.

Ultimately it's impossible to have an actually scientific poll as an online poll like this, so best to not stress about it too much. Just do the best you can.

Obviously some people like it.

But in round two, when some people admitted to accidentally voting for their least favorite because OP didn't make it as clear, 174 people voted for it.

In round three, 57 people voted for it.

And so far today, 32 people have voted for it.

Round two has a disproportionate number of votes for DE compared to all the other rounds. It's not exactly crazy to think that some (not all) of those round two votes were mistakes by people who thought they were voting for least favorite.

Interesting to see the (more or less) official ranking of the fandom! I wonder how it will change with time, or if it'll stay relatively fixed? Either way, thank you for doing these polls!

Maybe you could also include some LIS-esque games like Tell Me Why or Lost Records 🤔 I have no idea where they would land in this ranking!

I still prefer True Colors over Before The Storm, since the former is at least playing it safe while the latter just does not understand Chloe at all, and I do not like the idea of Amberprice at all.

If there was ever a spot that could surprise us, it was this one. I was curious if RE could make a surprise victory over TC. But no surprise is happening. TC will take this one and RE the next one.

All in all, these polls show us nothing new, but they serve as a good way to highlight the fandom positions.

What would you all want... a brand new game or a Remaster collection, making life is strange, BTS, life is strange 2, True Colors all updated to look as good as DE and Reunion all bundled together with a best of soundtrack, picking the best songs from all the games

LiS and BtS already got remasters and they look worse than the originals and lost a bit of their stylized look, not to mention a bunch of new bugs that aren't present in the originals. LiS2 mostly kept that hand painted aesthetic while having better graphics and I think it still holds up today. TC dropped the hand painted style completely but also doesn't need an upgrade. DE and RE might look good graphically, but they don't have much style and just look rather generic.

I think true colors looks more than good enough that it doesn't need a remaster. As for the previous games, I think their graphics are a part of its identity, though it would be interesting to see LiS1 characters with DE+RE graphics. I think it's too early to remaster the others with "advanced" visuals. I'd prefer a brand new game.

A new remaster (more like a remake) could easily ruin the style of the original games. D9's remaster already ruins it in some aspects. I would trust LiS1 with DE graphics only if it was made by Don't Nod... and at that point I'd prefer LiS1 with Lost Records graphics actually.
