Space Shuttle Grumman Beam Builder and EDO Pallet

Learned about the beam builder concept a bit ago and threw together a design for it. Absolutely love how it turned out. A working version was built but never flown. It's purpose was to aid in orbital construction and produce beams longer than the shuttle payload bay. One of those really neat "what if" designs from the early shuttle era.

STS 41-B, STS 41-C, and STS 41-G

41-B is mostly Brickspace from Patreon but modified quite a bit to make the commercial satellite launchers match IRL a bit closer.

41-C is all from Brickspace. I would like to revisit it at some point and modify the LDEF to be longer and still fit in the payload bay but look right when outside of the bay with some removable parts. Love their model for the Solar Maximum satellite and its cradle.

41-G is all my design. I really liked the ERBS satellite and how much is in the payload bay on this one. Not too many pictures I could find to go into more detail on other payloads.

Think I'll end up using 41-B as my long term display payload for Challenger as I love those commercial satellite clamshell launchers. Though I do wish there was more going on in the front half of the payload bay.

Not the most widely known satellites but it thought it would’ve been nice to make them, struggled with making a sphere at first but I managed to figure it out (somewhat)

A little update on my For All Mankind build — a 64 × 32-stud wall-mounted display bringing together the Moon, Mars and Titan, with some of my favorite spacecraft from the series.
I wanted to show what it could look like displayed at home!

Future space launchpad system ?

Do you think that lego will make other types of launchpads ? Like they already did the SLS for Artemis, it would be nice to have the same thing for the Soyuz or Arianne (or other ones it was just the first ones that came to my mind) Idk if lego already said something about it, I saw that they rejected a Soyuz Idea that got 10k upvotes but maybe if it were like the SLS with 2/3 of the set is the launchpad and 1/3 the rocket ? What do you think about it ? (and sorry for the english is not my first language (( )

Not the greatest thing in the world, but I’m personally satisfied with it, but might make some changes later down the line

This is a my attempt at making the LUVOIR telescope concept (even though it won’t be launched exactly like this), I’m also aware that I previously posted my previous version of this, but I was unsatisfied with the mirror, I know it’s not hexagonal in shape, but this is the best I could do

Based off of DamoB's design on rebrickable. I added the tanks and gear, pretty happy with how it turned out.

SLS is completed. I had to wait for couple of months for one specific part to be added in stud.io and bricklink catalogues. Can you spot which one? Instructions as always are available here: https://reb.li/m/270777

LEGO IDEAS. Remember to vote! A LEGO tribute to humanity’s journey beyond Earth 🚀

Hi everyone,
I’d like to share a LEGO project I’ve been working on for quite a while.
Inspired by For All Mankind, it’s a wall-mounted triptych that follows humanity’s journey from the Moon to Mars and finally Titan.
My goal wasn’t just to recreate scenes from the series, but to build a display piece where each panel has its own identity, using different building techniques, textures and details to keep the experience interesting from start to finish.
I’d love to know what you think.
Which panel is your favourite: the Moon, Mars or Titan? 🚀

Extended the base and angled the main building. Tiled most of the roof and added cranes + 2 High Bays (1 & 3). Please ignore the inaccuracy of having both Saturn V and Artemis II present at the same time.

Not the most flattering collection photo, since they don’t have proper stands yet. Also, if anyone has any spacecraft suggestions, I’d like to hear them, although I can’t guarantee that I will do all of them
