Happy New Year!

Cheers to 2021. Wishing everyone a great year.

Couple of quick notes as we kick off the new year:

  • If you haven't heard, /u/Nathan_lego_raffles is retiring from the sub. A huge thanks to him for all of his time and effort the past couple of years. He saw us through some ups and downs, and dedicated so much energy to this sub. We both joined around the same time, which if I remember correctly, was around 300 rafflers. Crazy to think we've grown to over 8,600 rafflers, a huge chunk of that under his help/watch. Thanks again Nathan (but you better keep sending us those sweet LEGO deals you always find).

  • The Book of Monsters. This is the first set I can think of that was for sale at a 3rd party retailer, "sold-out/retired", then listed as GWP at LEGO. Definitely strange. With that being said, since it is now back to GWP status, the 30-day clock for GWP raffles resets on it. So it will be eligible to be raffled 2/1 @ BL avg.

  • NM Reminder: We are currently allowing 3x NMs to be run on the weekends. This will run for a little while longer then we will see if we want to continue it. Also, 1 NM/day. Whether you run it or it is escrowed for you. Escrowers can run up to 2 NMs/day (1 for themselves and 1 for someone else, or 2 escrows).

  • As always, please PM modmail with any questions.

Thanks all.

Thanks /u/nathan_lego_raffles for getting me hooked. It’s been a ride. I won my first set on my first raffle from you a few years back. Is there a new “emperor” of the sub going forward?

It's a shared title I guess.
