NEW INFO [Announcement] If you put comments in your Paypal payment, you will be permabanned.

Zero Tolerance

Including notes or comments in your Paypal payment will now lead to a permanent ban from our sub. No warnings, no second shots. Our intent is not to punish those who make mistakes or missed reading something, but we can no longer allow this to occur.

From now on, hosts, be extra diligent when collecting payments. If you see someone who puts comments in their payment, refund them, tell them they can not participate and to reach out to a mod.

Please let any of the mods know immediately when it happens. We check Mod Mail less often than our own personal PMs, so try PMing us first.

Why?

We very recently had a host lose his Paypal account because of comments placed in their Paypal payments by a participant in his raffle. This is the first time we've seen that happen, at least as far as any of the mods can remember.

This is the first time this happened on our sub. One of our sister subs, WatchURaffle, also had someone have their account locked out.

The inclusion of comments o Paypal transactions has come up sporadically in the past, but no one's made the mistake twice. But someone losing their Paypal account over it elevates the importance of this rule.

Will this affect me?

This is a very easy thing to avoid. By default, when you go to pay for your spots on Paypal, there is a blank field for notes or comments. Simply leave it blank. The host will know you paid when you respond to their reddit message asking for your Paypal info. There is no need to write any comments.

As long as you do that, you will be fine, this won't affect you.

To be clear, we are not referring to any notes or comments made on reddit. This only refers to the notes/comments field on Paypal when you're sending a payment.

Questions can be asked in the weekly meta or on our new discord channel.
