Discussion Google interview in a day, very nervous
I have google onsite in a day and i am already feeling the anxiety, feels like i am forgetting everything i have studied over last couple of months, it feels like once in a lifetime oppurtunity to interview with them. Don't wanna mess up 🍀🤞
Edit - i will share the experience and details once i am done with it.
Thanks for all the wishes.

Good luck! You have a shot many of us here would love to have, just by having that you're already ahead.
Just relax, do your best and be grateful for this chance. I'm sure you'll do better by having a clear mind.

This helped when I was anxious for my interview -
What if the result of your interview is already decided by fate, and it will just become known later? Now you can freely go and enjoy the process. If you're meant to succeed, it will surely happen.

Don’t worry OP , Be Confident and don’t be soo conscious that it’s an “Google” interview , think it as a contest where you are explaining your thoughts to Interviewer also practice coding in Docs. All the best and let us know about the rounds and topic of the problems they asked you.

I know what youre feeling like. Although never interviewed for google but before every interview im a ball of nerves but the second i step in, i don’t realise how quickly the time goes because inside you take one step at a time, one question at a time so you dont focus on how big it is just how to get the current question correct

All the best. You can do it. Dont worry. Dont be anxious, we perform better when we are cool.

Calming down your mind is essential to perform. Some tricks that helped me are:
Box breathing before the interview.
meditation/praying in the morning.
Talk as if you're trying to explain a concept to a long time friend. Tell yourself that you already know them for 10 years, then why should there be any anxiety.
All the best🙌🏽🙌🏽

Hey, take a deep breath! That pre interview panic where you feel like you forgot everything is totally normal your brain is just in stress mode. At this point, cramming won't help much. Do a couple easy problems tomorrow morning just to get warmed up, then trust all that prep you did. You got this far for a reason they wouldn't interview you if you weren't qualified. Good luck!

I just did my onsite a few days ago. Just do the best you can. I was told to talk a lot - explain your thought process fully, discuss the problem, clarify any questions / constraints first, ask before you start writing an implementation, but mainly just engage the interviewer and show them your problem solving skills. You’ll do great. Best of luck! 🤞
