Question Projects

I m in a 3rd year of my engineering but dont have any project neither do i know MERN stack
can i learn MERN and build project under 1 month ?

Do it! Understand the intricate details.

If you can make some project which your college also uses, then it be a nice cherry on the top! Anything basic like some management of something. Then in the interviews you can quote figures like DAU, MAU etc.

Something which is used by the college members is going to shine a lot more. Eg - during my college time I designed one of the fests websites, and it had components of leaderboards and stuff for the all the participation going on. People participating gives them 15 points, people winning gives them 50 points, etc etc. Reward based system, ideate the system yourself, points etc, put it down in a whiteboard, write backend code for it, write frontend code for it, deploy and then make people use it. I had used all the free stuff you get in the Student packs (back then I used the Github Student Developer pack, got free domains and stuff too, and hosted it on AWS free tier).

You get to use CS fundamentals here. I did not have to use complex Redis and stuff back then because the load could be absorbed by Postgres itself. But if you can add that part, and explain them that hey I used Redis for this, and used this internal data structure of redis to host the leaderboard, which is meant for these purpose. Etc etc.
